The Famous Steak House

"Tried the oysters, ribeye, roast chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and drinks. My only complaints are that the green beans were a bit harder than how we normally like them and the roast chicken didn’t stand out much, but other than that everything was enjoyable. Pleasantly surprised and loved the atmosphere and layout of the restaurant. Definitely recommend giving the oysters a try!"

"Stopped in on a Friday night without a reservation. Was able to grab a couple seats at the bar and had a great dinner. Steaks were tender and cooked perfectly. Added the scampi to one and the shrimp were wonderful. Brussel sprouts as a side were great too and one order was plenty for 2 people. Non-alcoholic beer selection was only Heineken 0. Would love to see places like this add more options. Lots of great NA options out there now. Service at the bar was very good. Only thing we didn’t love was how loud it is. They have a gentleman playing piano and singing. It’s nice, but loud and a tough place to have a conversation."

"Food was fine, place isnt as nice as the Springs location except what is this abomination for a take home for a $200 wagyu Tomahawk??? Ruined. If you're going to charge premium prices deliver premium service. Fail. There's better steakhouses elsewhere on the front range."

"Okay so let me first say apologies for my Ted Talk… I am going to RAVE about my experience. I am currently sitting here having dinner & cannot wait to write this review. To start, I manage a 5 star restaurant in Colorado Springs & am VERY hard to impress. I have been waiting for a server/bartender who would give me the level of service deserving of a $100 tip on a lower bill. Everyone, come & FILL UP Bens bar. Ben made me feel so welcomed, happy, & seen. I came in alone & felt more noticed than I usually ever am. The NY Steak was perfect. The wine was amazing. He made me the best old fashion I’ve ever had in my whole life. Like I said, I am VERY picky from the server & bartender I was in my time. Ben, you are who I’ll come to when I want to splurge. You are amazing & I hope the owners & managers give you everything you deserve. I’ll see you soon! Peyton :) thank you."

"You can never go wrong with the Famous. We made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday and were seated immediately upon arrival. All of the staff were professional, cordial, and most of all personable. The pacing of the courses was done impeccably, and there was no sense of urgency to turn a table over. All of the food was beyond perfect and was well worth the price. I was pleased to hear about the surf and turf special as I was torn between mashed potatoes, asparagus, filet, and fish. The majority of my table ordered the surf and turf special. Our bartender/server also made my aviation perfectly. We went during a Sunday dinner, and for such quality, I would suggest making reservations for an even seenless experience. Cheers to the famous steak house for such a pleasant experience."
