"I brought my wife in the late evening in Jan 2024. She was seen immediately and the staff was efficient and caring. It was a Monday night and freezing cold outside. That could be why we were seen so quickly. Three night prior, we brought my aging mother in law and it took 3 hours to be seen and the waiting room was packed. But still the staff was efficient and caring. Sometimes you just have to wait your turn - others may need care more than you do."
"What an absolute joke of an emergency room. Brought someone in that was in excruciating pain for days. The nurse and the Dr told them completely different lab results. When we addressed the fact that the pain hadn't been identified and they were being sent home, we were told it was an emergency room and there was nothing life threatening they did all they could. They were advised to follow up with primary care in May when they could finally get an appointment. The Drs and staff were completely uninterested in proving care especially Ashley Atiyeh"
"Worst ER ever. Don’t even bother. If you have a choice go to Memorial North instead. They just try to rush you out and don’t even bother to try to get to the bottom of what is really wrong with you. My daughter was 20 weeks pregnant with an upper respiratory intention and fluid in her lungs. Needed oxygen. They sent her home with nothing. Most of the staff was rude! Never even let her go up to OB floor. Her OB was so upset. We had to have the OBGYN put oxygen needed in discharge notes after she had already been discharged. They better pray nothing happens to either of them."
"Terrible experience, uninterested"Dr", the majority of the staff was rude. Got to ER at 930, finally get called back with 2 different groups of ppl around noon. Explained to the so called "Dr" what was going on, where I had my prior surgery, which his reply was "whats MD Anderson", that was a red flag. They ran blood work and some other tests, no one person gave me the results of the tests that were ran, again the "Dr" seemed uninterested in my medical care. 3pm comes around and they were gonna discharge me but not before giving me a pain pill/IV, which should have been done way earlier. 8hrs for nothing. I would NOT recommend this ER, I'd die before going back here, terrible care!"
"My husband went in for severe back pain. We were waiting for 3 hrs for a CT scan and came to find out that the ER doctor put the order in incorrectly and it took 3x to finally ask for meds each time they said they'll be back and took over an hour to get them. When my husband was being discharged the first time he couldn't even sit in the w/c or use a walker and the 2 nurses were very rude to me and not being transparent throughout the whole process. We will never come back to this ER. Communication was horrible. The only good service we got was from radiology he offered my husband a warm blanket and had great bedside manner. They told us to call back tomorrow to schedule an appointment for next Monday for possible surgery but then said we can't get an appointment until MAY! The whole visit was a waste of time. We went to memorial central and there's a 100% difference here much better care."
