"Great place to pick up paints and models I build for my grandsons Very friendly and helpful workers Everything u need for about any hobbyist"
"When I am looking for craft items, this is my go to place. They have a large selection and always good prices. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for crafting supplies."
"Very clean store and very well stocked. Things are never out of order and you can find the price easily. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Probably the better hobby lobby in the Colorado springs area."
"Come here for metallic, glitter, and pearl acrylic paint, as well as Matte, Satin, Neon finishes, and duo-chrome topcoats and glossy varnish! Excellent selection! 8th Street Hobby Lobby isn't my "normal" store, as it's out of the way, but if in area, I visit. Here's why: Store on 8th carries DecoArt Galaxy Glitter paint (which JoAnn's DOES NOT carry) and have shades of Metallic Sheen paints, that aren't carried in other stores, unless you have them shipped to you, ie. Sky Blue Topaz, Jadeite, Deep Blue Sapphire. Craft supples have VERY competitive in pricing (vs. JoAnn's and Michael's). Yesterday, I made rounds to all three chains. Hobby Lobby had a sale on Delta Ceramcoats 2 oz paints for just $1.19 each and another line for $0.63 cents each. Paints I tend to buy are almost never on sale anywhere. A FolkArt Metallic Paint I had just bought at Hobby Lobby regular ticketed price for $1.79 rang up as $2.99 at JoAnn's. Even with their 25% off promotion, Hobby Lobby had the best price. 8th Street Location had 2 cashiers. I had a timid, young man, not personable, but perhaps he had just been hired. Store looked great. Employees were working in different aisles. Sections with many small items are always a challenge to keep stocked and neat, but their craft - and paints! - section looked fabulous. While Hobby Lobby does not price match as of this writing, price wise, it holds its own. I've been here where all Notions were 50% off and could get duo kits with both white and blue colored chalk. Quality Novelty cotton fabrics, for quilting or other projects, also go on sale from time to time, with designs not found elsewhere, and ladies at cutting table tend to be efficient, friendly and take extra care when cutting fabrics. PS: I'm holding the sign up because yours truly bumped into it and partially took it down! Sorry Hobby Lobby, it was me that messed up your sign."
"Hobby Lobby is a fun place to shop or just walk around! I love all the decorations that their carry for the holidays! They have wonderful signs, table decorations, napkins, garlands, centerpieces, and so much more! Their selection of silk flowers is nearly overwhelming! They carry many varieties of flowers, in so many colors and shades of colors. They have candles, magazine racks, small side tables, and other pieces of furniture. They have posters and other decor for the walls. The have many displays, throughout the store. The store is a good place to get ideas for decorating and for party planning. If you have a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, gender reveal, baby shower, or any other party, you should stop in! They have so many things to choose from. If you, your family, friends, or co-workers, love to do crafts, this is a must stop. The craft choices are too numerous to list. I love to walk around and find inspiration here. Gathering new ideas for decorating or for a fun party theme. The one thing that I most love about this Hobby Lobby, is their Custom Framing Department. They have helped bring my ideas into reality many times! They frame items, beautifully. The staff is simply awesome. They are professional and creative! I have gone back, numerous times to get canvases, prints, and other items professionally framed! I have been thrilled, every time. I could not recommend the framing department more highly. Their work is terrific! That said, I have had one isolated bad experience at this location. I witnessed the manager being rude, condescending, and unprofessional towards one of the framing staff, as they were helping me to check out and carry my newly framed item to my car. This was something that should never happen, but especially not at the checkout area, in front of customers. I was appalled. On top of that, she did this, because the person asked her a question about getting my order paid for. Just that, nothing more. Otherwise, every employee at this store has been great. Hopefully, the manager was having a bad moment and this is not the way she normally talks to her workers. Here’s a tip. Grab a coupon, before you go. They offer great coupons."
