"Service was outstanding, and overall not a bad place for a hotel restaurant. The Boston lettuce salad was good, like a unique twist on Caesar. I inquired about the small crunchy bits and was told it was salt and pepper, but I'm not convinced and it was too dark to examine well. I ordered the filet cooked medium, and it was served fully rare - the meat still tasted good but it was very underdone (hopefully tomorrow isn't ruined). Peppery sauce added a nice kick to it. The frites are fried in clarified butter instead of oil, which gave them a magnificent flavor and I ate way more of them than I intended to."
"We expected more atmosphere and better food. Almost empty and they sat us right by the hostess desk …hmm? Maybe that’s the best seating. Hard to say. The waiter was very nice. The food was average. The atmosphere was that of a hotel restaurant. We had the onion soup which was barely warm but they brought a new one. That was my favorite part . The beet salad was good. Scallops were fine. Lamp chops were ok. Won’t go back ."
"Enjoyed their thanksgiving day menu. Beautiful French bistro spot inside a hotel, easy to find from the entrance but also feels separate enough where you’re just not open to the lobby. Beautiful space. The food - quality and quantity was great for the price. The butternut squash soup was amazing. Enjoyed the lamb chops and branzino. The brussel sprout and sweet potato side dishes were really good. Mashed potatoes were disappointing. Would’ve been happy without the pies. But overall a nice meal , server was great, set at a reasonable price and good drink specials. Would love to come back for their regular meal!"
"The service was attentive but not disruptive. The drinks were delicious. The server was knowledgeable, including about the wines. The kitchen was louder for not being an exposed kitchen, which surprised me. The food was delicious but our sauces were room temperature and a bit congealed. The flavors were great, however."
"*I rate fine dining harder than other restaurants. I do this because you pay a premium price with the expectation of it being a premium experience. My husband (of three days now!) went their for our wedding dinner. We were early and the bartender bought us a champagne toast which was very nice. We enjoyed the Confit Leeks at the bar, which were delicious. Once we got to our table, I was impressed with the lovely restaurant, decorated in a modern art deco style. Our server was sweet. We ordered the escargot, bison tartar, duck a l'orange, and Colorado Lamb and the mushrooms. I was particularly excited about the mushrooms since I'm a huge fan. On the whole, everything but the leeks and the lamb were under salted. The bison tartar was really good but because it was such a rich dish, the portion was actually far too large (weird complaint, I know)! My husband loved the escargot, which he'd never had before. The mushrooms didn't taste like any salt at all had been used. The were not good. the Duck was over cooked and tough, and the orange sauce was a sugar bomb. I was pretty bummed about this one as well since I'm a big fan of duck. The lamb was amazing! The server bought us two desserts to celebrate our wedding, a chocolate mousse cake tart thing, and a crepe cake. The chocolate dessert was finely done, but TOO chocolaty for me. The crepe cake was amazing. *They bought us a champagne toast, and two desserts, which was so very nice. On the whole we had a lovely night with really good service. I was a bit disappointed with the food, but we had a memorable wedding dinner! Thank you to the staff!"
