"I have been a customer here for over 7 years. About a year ago we purchased some wine that leaked when we stored it in the cabinet and it had not been opened. Literally half the bottle had leaked out. We were able to take it back and exchange it. A couple of days ago, I made a purchase and after getting the bottles home, my husband noticed that when he tried to open one of them, they were not sealed correctly and when he poured some of the wine into a glass it did not taste right. He tried to return the wine today and was told that he could not exchange it. Very disappointing since we have been long time customers, and was able to exchange a bottle with a similar issue in the past. He was told after it leaves the store, they are not responsible. My question is, how are you supposed to tell that something is wrong with the bottles while in the store? I'm sure they would object to customers checking the seals on bottles before they were purchased. The person behind the counter responded with "That's fine", when my husband said we would not be coming back there again, so I guess they don't mind losing long time customers that come in 1-2 times a week and for special occasions, and spend a lot of money in their store. We should have been able to exchange these bottles, and Coronado Liquor should have brought this up to the company that manufactured the wine, as I am sure that it wasn't just my bottles that were affected."
