"I went to pick up my City Market order yesterday, and it wasn’t quite ready and I was unable to wait. Kelly came out to advise that they wouldn’t have it ready and that she was very sorry. So I picked my order up this morning and Kelly helped me once again with exceptional service. She was polite, friendly, and even gave me a small discount off my grocery order for having to come back. Now that’s what I call excellent customer service. Thank you Kelly."

"I went to city market today as usual to get my recipe ingredients. I came across a wonderful clearance with all kinds of Valentine's swag. I needed this for a birthday for my wife in april. That was a huge perk!!! All the employees I encountered were friendly and amazing. The reason I am leaving this review is because of an employee named Isela. Isela was fun, friendly, kind, super respectful, and overall AMAZING. She helped me get the value I was expecting and also assisted with scanning items for me. As a disabled individual (I have a hidden disability) receiving that kind of help offered without me having to ask for it was absolutely incredible!!! She is a gemstone employee. I hope this review gets her recognition. She deserves it. Thank you City Market for hiring amazing employees."

"I hate using phone apps but had to use this one last year when I had an unexpected surgery and needed groceries to be delivered. I quickly realized how great the app actually is: it places your most purchased options front and center to just be reordered, tells you when you have something in your shopping cart without having clipped the coupon, and sends you personalized coupons for your most purchased items. It's been a year and there has been no downside. The shopper evens listens to the comments I make on items like 'uniform red apple color' or 'check expiration date' which is very nice. I don't cook with meat or dairy so maybe this is why I don't have concerns like those who visit the deli etc but everything I get is generally ok. A bad pepper or garlic here or there but it's easy to ask for a refund through the app. I've been doing pick up recently and it's great to not have to deal with going in the store. Sometimes there are hiccups but we as customers should be paying attention to help catch things; no one is perfect. All pick up employees are friendly and conversational which isn't typically the norm. My only recommendation would be to have more staff for Fridays as more people are shopping for the 4x fuel points. Sometimes I go on Saturdays and it seems like the same amount of staff for less customers. But overall great job to everyone here, thank you!"

"This store is horrible. Shopped there on Sunday. The bagger looked like he hadn’t showered in a month and he was touching all my groceries and staring at my 1 year old daughter and wouldn’t stop staring at her to the point it became creepy. Bagged my groceries extremely slow then managed to forget to give me one of my bags. When I called the girl at customer service she told me she had my bag. So I show up 2 hours later to grab it and she lies and says she never got a call. The guy at the customer service then tells me there is no bag and basically was accusing me of lying. He was so rude and treating me very bad. This store needs to hire more respectable people. The people they hire are low lives!!!!!!!"
