"Walked in on a Sunday night and was greeted at the door - and pushed off to the bar, didn’t have reservations, so make reservations if you have just two. Chris at the bar was friendly and nice. Made a great dirty martini and asked what type of olives which was nice. Lobster Roll was ok, but the food truck is better. Maui Maui was light and good, just right for what I needed and wanted. Like to see more options for fish on the menu. Key Lime dessert was really good! Split it two ways was perfect! Great atmosphere and may go back on another night."

"Our NYE experience was lovely. Right when you walk it, you're met with the smells of richly cooked seafood, delightful carbs and fresh prepared ingredients. We sat at the bar which I would highly recommend for first dates or couples. We made a reservation and it seemed like that was the norm. The staff was great, gave tons of recommendations (including wine and cocktail pairings) and we got to be part of the fun of the busy night! Our meal was the New Year's set menu but everyone sitting around us got dishes from the normal menu and loved them as well! Definitely felt comfortable being more dressed up but nicer casual wouldn't be too out of place. Highly recommend, we will be going back!"

"Our experience here was phenomenal from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, & extremely helpful upon ordering or making substitutions. We felt the environment was relaxing & even a bit romantic. Prices were reasonable especially with the economy the way it is and everything being ordered in. We highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back if we have the opportunity during another visit to Colorado Springs."

"After a ten year hiatus while living out of the area, we returned to find that Jax is as incredible as we remembered. Every dish from the apps to the entrees were perfection! The calamari was lightly breaded and very tender. The oysters were fresh, perfectly shucked, and the mignonette was as good as it gets. The gumbo is better than most I’ve had in Louisiana, and I travel there a lot for work, nice dark deep roux and rich flavor! The yellowfin tuna was beyond words, my wife never orders tuna anywhere, sushi or otherwise, but this dish was on another level. The halibut dish was equally as good, I love halibut having lived in Alaska and catching my own, Jax is way better than my own fresh caught, the beluga lentils very tasty. Overall, perfect, I hate to keep using that word, but it was perfection. And Kayla’s service was above and beyond while being very friendly and personable!"
