I have interacted with Nydia (Leasing Specialist) numerous times for things like maintenance requests, lease renewing, and other basic questions, and every time I have received extremely professional, friendly, and effective communication. This has been a great home so far, highly recommended."

"Very poor experience as an approved applicant recently. The apartments themselves are nice, fairly standard, decent area, close to shopping centers etc. My issue (and if you look at the reviews below and at the other websites that advertise Tanemara) is with the leasing manager, Dawn. She is extremely rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional, for absolutely no reason other than for sport. I went through the whole application and approval process with the other very kind leasing officer that works in the office at Tanemara, I left a my deposit check (which was never cashed for over a week), and had never interacted with Dawn until I reached out to the office after all that time to inquire about my lease documents and about seeing the actual unit I would be moving into (since I had only been shown the show model unit, as the other unit was still occupied). Dawn became extremely irate and called me "rude" for wanting to see the apartment that I was supposed to move into and for taking up her time... I wasn't sure what her problem was until she flatly told me to my face that her issue with me was that I was speaking in Spanish with her bilingual leasing officer and she had no idea what we were talking about... seriously? No apartment is worth being treated unprofessionally and with this kind of biased behavior. Lastly, I reported this behavior to Team Asset Management and received a tepid response from someone named Brenda, Office Administrator who simply said Dawn had been a manager there for 8 years and she had never received a complaint like that but that they would look into this... that told me what I needed to know about this place and the people who manage it and that they are probably more unethical worst behaved than Dawn. They offered me my application fee and deposit check back (which they never cashed since they never intended for me to live there anyway) and I have gladly taken my money elsewhere."
