"Waited for weeks for them to send me a rental application to take over a friend’s lease. Called many times and they seemed annoyed that I was asking them. Didn’t know how to do their jobs very unprofessional and never ended up getting the application. Do not rent from them if you care about the quality of your living space or the amount they will help you."

"We hate boardwalk ! & most people who work for them are rude. They don’t care if your heats broken, especially during WINTER lol. Didn’t get the full amount of our security deposit back which is pathetic because we kept that place nice & we were never late on rent. They love taking from people who work their butt off to pay rent. & there are even more horrific stories from old neighbors- “they wouldn’t fix our heat for 2 years. Got to the point where we saw our own child’s breathe in the mornings.” Wish nothing but the worst for Boardwalk "

"Staff tries to be helpful, but supervisors are incredibly rude to tenents. Expect to be hung up on while reporting issues if they are in a bad mood. On site maintence is terrible and getting issues fixed can take months. Terrible roach problems."

"Unbelievably bad property management. For YEARS Boardwalk has been aware of homeless people breaking into the shared laundry room, and has not once changed the locks. About three and a half weeks ago someone broke into our shared laundry room and used drugs. They blew a vein and spewed blood all over the walls, floor, and door. When I called the office they were disturbingly unbothered by the situation and said they would put in a maintenance request. I told them they need to block off the laundry room until it’s cleaned properly because this is a biohazard and people are at risk of being exposed. The woman I spoke to said “I don’t really know how we would do that so they will probably see the blood and not go in.” The pure laziness to not even send an EMAIL to your residents telling them about a dangerous situation. These photos I took a few hours after my initial call. Nothing was cleaned. When they finally “cleaned” the mess, they leafy large patches of dried blood all over walls. When I told them about this they completely ignored me.I have told them I will only be communicating in writing with them from now on because they are so unreliable and I want written records. What everyone is saying is true. They take ages to fix problems in individual units and clearly have no regard for the health and safety of their tenants."

"Unprofessional staff and even worse response times for maintenance. They clearly hire college students with no real professional capabilities. Living in one of their properties has been hell since the start. Don't rent unless you can't find ANYWHERE else. Four Star Realty or Poppy PM are much more trustworthy management companies in Boulder. Heating issues, flooding and criminal activity are just some of the few features you can expect from almost any property you'll rent from this company!"
