"Hands down best hotel in Boulder. Affordable, great location, amazing service. Michael, at the front desk, was so helpful with everything. He went above and beyond! I will be staying here every time I come back to Boulder."
"I arrived and went straight to bed. When I woke up the next morning and went to enjoy the complimentary breakfast, I was grilled by the desk staff as to whether or not I should be there. I'm assuming this was due to my appearance, which wasn't the best. Since my friend booked the room however, I had none of the booking info on hand. In fact, he had told me he would be following me down to breakfast within a few minutes after I went down. Anyway, I spent that time waiting by the front desk for my friend instead of enjoying my breakfast as I should have been. I felt they were rather heavy-handed in their verification approach and I felt like a sub-standard citizen because of it. After all this rigamarole had been handled, the rest of my the days there was without incident. I had a habit off leaving late and coming back late so it was nice that the staff seemed to remember that I was supposed to be there after that initial experience. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for two. The breakfast was mediocre at best."
"The good stuff: The hotel was clean with a friendly atmosphere. We checked in at night, so it wasn't very busy and the staff was very helpful answering my questions. Breakfast had a variety of foods and drinks to choose from and was well stocked. There is a huge parking garage with free parking for hotel guests, so that was wonderful. The not so great: we reserved a single king bed room but upon check in were informed they only had rooms with double queen beds remaining unless we wanted to wait an hour, so we were assigned one of them. When we got to our room, we noticed the shampoo and soap hadn't been restocked, so we tried calling down to the front desk but our phone didn't work. I ended up just walking back down and asking for the things we needed. The pool area was not stocked with towels so we had to again ask the front desk for some. For the price, we got a nice place to stay for the night and friendly staff, but this hotel could benefit from being properly stocked in the rooms and pool area."
"The lobby is fine, but the hallways are fairly dark and the walls and doors show significant signs of wear. The rooms are similar, but have the added benefit of being neglected between customers. Our bedding was dirty and we found a staggering amount of hair in the shower - all the more surprising because there were fresh towels in the shower, but a handful of hair hanging from the towel rack. I have no idea how that could have been missed, so I have to assume it was deliberate. There's no way I could, in good conscience, recommend this to anyone unless it was an absolute emergency."
