Coronado Apartments

"Ever since Shelly left the management position this place has gone down the hill. The new manager is very rude and nosey and doesn't tend to her tenants in a timely manner. We had an inspection on our unit in Oct. 23 and asked them to replace our fridge that was going out and didn't receive a new fridge until 4 months later. My husband, son and I have lived here for 7 years and up until 2 years ago everything was great. The new managers came in and has made everything a hassle,not on us perse but for a lot of other tenants. They are always stopping and questioning our guests and family members. And we are not supposed to pay utilities, but we had to pay 3 months of utilities last year during the winter. I'm just putting this out there for anybody who is looking for a place to rent, keep looking. From my understanding they have been taken to court numerous times. But the pool is nice. I just wish Shelley wouldn't have left her, position she was the best manager ever."

"The staff is very unfriendly. They ignore New Mexico state rental laws and enter any time they wish with no notice. They will amend the lease at their pleasure. For example they will often drain the pool and leave it drained during the summer due to a few not following the pool rules thus depriving the rest of the residents even though the pool option is stated in the lease. The maintenance is very sub par. They come in and remodel with no warning and do a very poor job and never clean up there mess like plaster dust all over the apartment. Twice now they have sent people over to view my apartment because they thought it was empty. That is twice while I was home. No idea how many times when I was gone. Both times the potential renters were unescorted by the staff. They just give them the key and point the way. Been here to long. Glad I am leaving."
