Reviews of Copper Village Apartments
"It's alright for the price. Would give it 2.5 but not a 3, thus, 2 stars. Everything seems cheaply made. You can hear everything the upstairs/next door neighbors are doing. The storage inside the units are subpar as well; probably why they offer extra, paid storage on site. Hot water is an issue too. If you run appliances (dishwasher, dryer, etc.) on the same day, be prepared to lose hot water at some point. As stated above, for the price, it's alright. Nothing noteworthy though. Staff and management are super nice but there is just too much lacking here. EDIT: These walls are just way too thin and cheap. It's almost unbearable."
"Pros: I have never had a shower cold when also running the washing machine and or the dishwasher at the same time. The price does look expensive at a glance but since all the utilities you have to pay for is energy, it’s very cheap and reasonable. The thickness of the walls is good as you can’t hear most notices (people talking, music, tv, etc) Amy is amazing w/communication. Cons: If you want to do auto rent payments w/your card it’s like a $4-5 service fee which is not a lot for a month but for 12 months it’s a lot especially for a college student. The walls in the apartments are amazing as it’s hard to hear anyone unless you live by the stairs then it’s a nightmare, you can hear every time the door opens, every time someone stomps up the stairs (it gets annoying pretty quick especially when you are trying to go to sleep) The flooring is terrible. You can hear the downstairs neighbors talk, the tv, basically all sounds including snoring (yes I’ve tried to ignore it w/ music, white noise, ear plugs. But sometime I don’t want to have to do that and sleep in peace). While snoring loudness is something you can’t control, it gets really annoying over time. Parking is terrible. There are not enough parking spaces! Since I moved in on 06/01/23 the only buildings that houses tenants are: 615, 613, 622, and 623 so 96 apartments total. - math: In that 96 apartment there are 48 1 bed room and 96 2 bed rooms, that is 144 people. Assume that only 2 people live in the 2 bedroom apartments and 1 in the one bedroom ones, and each of them has a car/vehicle there would need to be 144 parking spaces total. - Summery of math: there are at least 144 tenants (asuming that the 1bed has 1 adult and the 2bed has 2 adults). There would need to be at least 144 parking spaces. My boyfriend did the math and there are only enough parking spots for each apartment rooms for 1 driving persons car (including the curb and in front of the garages) - But it’s extremely hard to find parking spaces especially after 5p.m. - Now building #2455 has just opened up (few days ago, today is 01/14/24) and parking has gotten worse due to the newest tenants. I have written to ____ (will not say due to privacy) about when there should be more parking but was told that there are enough."
"Our experience has been wonderful. We’ve lived here for almost two years and we’ve had no complaints. Everyone has been professional and if we’ve ever had a problem the staff has always been quick to respond and fix the issue. The location is perfect and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for this area. We highly recommend Copper Village Apartments!!"
"We lived here for over a year. Nice apartment. It was new when we moved in. The apartment itself was nice however, management was not good at all. The few times we called in to have things fixed or taken care of it took a long time and management always seemed annoyed and didn’t have good customer service at all. Barry was by far the best and was ALWAYS nice and willing to help. Everyone else was rude and not very helpful. When we were moving out we got the carpets cleaned and asked if someone from management could just come and lock the door after the carpet guy left and we got yelled at and were told it “wasn’t their job” even though the guy was ON SITE. Seemed like a simple request but apparently not. Sunny threatened to charge us more money while moving out if we didn’t have things completed even when we had everything done. But refused to talk to us because she was on vacation and said there was no one else that could help us. Super unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend moving here purely for the sake of management."
"Rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. Poor management. Other than Barry the maintenance guy, the staff was horrible. Although the apartments are nice, I wouldn’t recommend solely based off management. They try to nickel and dime you for everything and it’s impossible to get in contact with them. Poor experience."
