"This staff was so kind! They took the time to help me solve my problem, step-by-step with my upcoming travels and needing to print my documentation. They had snacks, smiles, and smarts. "
"This is an amazing college. There are trying times rarely, but overall my experience here getting my associates in the paralegal program has been wonderful and life changing in the best of all possible ways."
"The Advisors I saw tried to make me feel like I was illiterate because my grades wernt the best the semester before. I tried to ask for an expected graduation date and they refuse to give me one saying that they don't offer those because their is no such thing. Ha. Then they were just being really rude. And on top of that they don't send you emails regrading anything your financial aid. Also they take forever to give you your grades. Worst community college ever. I prefer Denver. This school is a waste of time. Seriously."
"I have attended several community colleges around town as an adult learner and I have had the best experience with Arapahoe Community College. I am currently in the nursing program and the registration, testing and financial aid employees are wonderful. The instructors are passionate, the grounds are clean and the cost per credit hour is within my budget... EDITED 10/24/12 ---> I just experienced how horrible the gym is however, so I lowered the service portion to just "good". The school is great, but the gym facility has no space, limited equipment and (wait for it) THEY DON'T ALLOW YOGA APPAREL. Yup. It seems they have a program w/ the community for seniors and get the majority of their funding from that source, so they cater to the older population. Guess I'm paying to go to a gym."
"The Good: Cheap, convenient location, many different classes and programs to offer. The Bad: Admissions or anything to with another department is ridicules and time consuming. I strongly believe in "You get what you pay for" and with the Colorado Community College system that is completely true. Why go thought the frustration and stress of seeing 32 different departments (Advising, admissions, EMT department, back to advising, cashiers office, campus police, back to the cashiers office, back to advising, back to campus police, to the bookstore and finally back to the EMT department) in order to get registered, pick up your books and pay for your classes? Maybe I am just spooled because I went to Regis and everything done there was seamless, but I will not pay for anymore services from a Colorado community college again!"
