"I’ve been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for 15 years. Reading through the reviews of the past year, which consistently point out that the facility is, among other things, dirty and gross, the owner has the same response to each review that they have much work to do to remedy the grossness, yet nothing has changed. Several of the elliptical machines turn themselves off after about 10 minutes, have missing parts such as plastic grips on the handles, or contain used tissues and other garbage in various crevasses. None have warning signs. The far left sink in the men’s bathroom has been broken for at least two months, paper towel dispensers are often empty or the replacement roll is sitting on the counter, and I agree with other reviewers that the facility is consistently dirty. It just doesn’t seem that the owners/management are invested in providing a well-maintained, positive environment for members. That might explain the constant employee turnover."

"I have been a member of 24 hour fitness for 20 years. Before we moved to Littleton, I had been going to the Lakewood and Arvada locations. This location is the dirtiest and most unkempt I have ever been to. I have yet to ever see anyone maintaining the equipment. There are multiple machines that have been out of order for over a month including machines that there are only one of. Many of the cable machines are jerky and feel as though they are dirty and need to be cleaned and/or oiled. The same is true with much of the cardio equipment. The tracks on many of the elliptical machines are bumpy as though they are dirty and need to be cleaned. The vinyl is torn on many machines as well and the weights are never organized. Also, the same five TV's have been off and broken for over a month as well. It is more than likely longer, but that is when I really started keeping track of how poor the condition of this gym is. Very rarely will you see staff cleaning and if they do, it is merely wiping things down. Otherwise, they visit at the front desk. There is no deep cleaning of equipment. Save your money and go the one of the cleaner and better quality gyms like Vasa Fitness or even Planet Fitness."

"Nathan was really helpful and informative, and patient with all my questions being my first time into the gym. Gave me good advice on gym memberships and other recommendations and overall great front desk member. On the other hand the locker rooms, restrooms, shower area, were pretty dirty. Tons of mold on the only curtain in the shower area. Overall felt very distasteful having to use those showers and some other areas."

"I have been coming to this facility for over 20 years. It seems to have gone downhill in the last 2 years The Hot tub is broken as the whirlpool jets do not work, more like bath water. Steam room is broken and filthy with mud and dirt on the floor. There is very little steam, more like a light fog. Many think it is broken I think it is just set very low. Both have been this way for at least the last month. Showers ,bathrooms and locker rooms are good some days not so good others. Exercise and Floor Equipment is generally in good condition and there are plenty of options. Although some units breakdown they ultimately get fixed Staff is friendly and welcoming. Usually you get a hello and goodbye from the front desk. They seem to have a good attitude Bottom line the rating could be much higher if they fixed the wet areas and paid more attention to cleanliness. For the amount I pay it’s probably a good deal but I am at least starting to look at other facilities"

"It's a big gym and the crowd isn't overwhelming for the size of the gym. The gym however is dirty, especially in the locker rooms, group fitness room, spin room and the sauna/steam rooms. Honestly why are you asking for a review if you're not going to fix the issue? If you need to use the restrooms DON'T, especially the ladies, it's beyond gross!!! They never clean it and it shows."
