"*UPDATE* Trevor never called (as per management’s response to this post). I guess they don’t actually care about customer satisfaction. *UPDATE* — Someone named Jay called and left a message saying they would cancel and there was a required 30 day notice? Not sure how I would need to provide notice for something I never signed up for. Speaks volumes to my previous post on the knowledge of their business and customers. Not impressed. We came in two weeks ago for their free trial lesson with my two and a half year old son. The facility is small and there are not enough changing rooms for parents/children getting out of the water. Check-in was unclear as to which instructor we were working with. When we did get into the water, the male teen instructor we worked with was slurring his speech THE ENTIRE LESSON and it was difficult to understand what he was saying. He seemed bored/tired to be there and the lesson overall, was subpar at best. The “feedback” he gave me at the end for my kiddo’s swim abilities was a “no brainer”, not helpful or informative at all. When we were done and spoke to the front desk about future lessons, they told me they couldn’t schedule more than a week out each time and that they didn’t have any weekend morning slots available, aside from a 10:20am on Saturdays, which was much too late. The gal seemed busy speaking to me and passed me off to a teen girl, who could not answer any of my questions. The information I did get from staff members conflicted with what each of them said. Poorly managed and much of the staff is very young, which is fine, but if I am paying premium for lessons, I expect it to be better run with working, adult professionals, who are knowledgeable about the business for paying customers. We left without the information we needed and I am really disappointed with our overall experience. We decided to take my son elsewhere for lessons and I’m so glad we did - what a difference a better facility and its staff makes for the overall experience and learning process."
"First of all, my two kids are learning to swim - great. But what I actually want to note here is that we started with Aqua-Tots Littleton about 1.5 years ago, and it was fine. We ended up pulling the kids out for travel and decided to put them back in after we returned from being out of town for 3 months. WOW - I am so impressed with how amazing the new staff is - particularly Lynzie. She has been immensely helpful in dealing with everything from our challenging schedules to my helping my 3 year old get past his newfound fear of water. I am so appreciative."
"Canceled all my kids a month ago. My oldest has been doing lessons here since he was an infant. He’s a very strong swimmer. I felt like this place just wanted to suck money from us and keep him in the same level as long as they could. Every single time they said he had to “master” something in order to graduate he would do it and then they would bring something else up they had never talked about before, or it was something required in upper levels that didn’t apply to his current level. The feedback from each instructor we had was always something different - the level of communication among the instructors was basically nonexistent. Every time I reached out I was ignored. They were frustrating to deal with and I was trying to give them grace because they are severely understaffed. Once our level 3 swim coach moved away and my younger kids’ coach left our class (a level 2), I started looking for lessons other places, specifically ISR and it doesn’t even compare!! I will say this place is great if you’re looking for your kids to be comfortable in the water, but all in all, these are mostly high school and college kids literally reading off of a card. Changing up the way we can use our make ups really made me mad too! There was never any availability so we basically lose all of those classes we paid for.. (again, a money suck)."
"I was thinking swimming group lessons won’t work until I got my daughter into Aqua tots. She learned so much in one year. She doesn’t scared get into the water anymore and I am so happy. 100% recommended (Littleton)"
"We have been at Aqua-Tots for about 6 months. We started in the parent tot swim class with Coach Andrew, and then transitioned to the next level with Coach Leila. Both coaches are consistent and report on my son’s progress verbally and/or through the Aqua-Tots app. Coach Alize is also a lovely coach! Their make-up policy is great for families with unpredictable schedules, and overall this business does a great job communicating with parents. If anyone is looking for a swim school that is wanting strong communication and reporting of your child’s progress, Aqua-Tots meets those expectations compared to other swim schools."
