INCA INN and MOTEL

"Affordable and great location, which is a win, but a bed is about all this motel offers. I came back for a morning hike to a room that had been turned with the room door wide open. Luckily all I had out was a watch. Check out was at 11, this was at 10 AM. Easy fix is to not clean a room until after check out. Took a shower and A) water never got hot and B) found lots of hairs in the shower. The windows in the bathroom are also incredibly rickety. Gave all of this information to the outsourced receptionist, who was lovely, who said someone would be reaching out. No one did. There’s no accountability when the front desk is working from the Phillipines."

"Check-in was a little odd to me. It's the first time I've used a kiosk and spoke to a remote clerk to check into a motel, but the process was relatively smooth. We got a room with a single king. It was clean and included a microwave and a mini fridge. My only complain it that there were no extra blankets in the room, and since check-in is a remote process, I don't know how you would get them."

"I love this motel! Check-in is so easy, rooms are super clean and comfy. There are festive lights outside. It's right next to a great Mediterranean restaurant and within walking distance from basically everything in Moab. Maverick is across the street. And it's cheap!"

"I like this hotel! I picked it because it was the least expensive but still had decent ratings. What all I liked: 1. Their remote check-in person & procedure - I’ve never done this before & it worked just fine. When I walked into the lobby, there was no live person - instead I interacted with a machine with a nice person on a video screen who checked me in remotely. Very cool. 2. I think the machine signaled the heater in the room we were assigned to start, as it was running, warming up the room, when we entered it. Nice touch! 3. The lamps located on both sides of the king bed with plugs where we could plug in our cell phone and enough other plugs in the room to plug in our other electronic devices. 4. The light-blocking pull-down window shade. 5. The walk-in tiled shower that I’m sure replaced a bathtub was nicely done and much easier & safer to use. 6. How big the bathroom was - and there was a comfortable chair in it. 7. And I liked the price. Very good value! Thank you!"

"Great value. We got upgraded for free from a Queen to a king for $39 for one night. Pros: location in Moab, cheap, has everything you need. If you’re only looking for a place to spend the night and nothing else, the Inca Inn has great value. Cons: check in was with a kiosk via a zoom call from the Philippines. No wonder the room was so cheap. They advertise free breakfast but there was no breakfast to be found. Just free coffee. We also found some hairs in our sheets that were not ours. The sheets smelt and looked fine, but we were skeptical."
