"I have been a loyal customer for years and I have never complained even when their stores look horrible and the pharmacy started having so many issues the last couple years and their customer service is non existent but this went so far above and beyond wrong I had to say something. I was in there on Monday March 4, 2024. I always wait until I have a pretty big grocery list and go to Walgreens first to get deals and see anything new. I always bring my reusable shopping bags and put them in a cart and walk every aisle. It was frustrating when I tried to ask questions to an associate and the store manager about a couple products they sell and the associate a girl with really short brush hair and dark glasses didn’t even look up from what she was doing and said she had no idea. I don’t think she even listened to my question so I asked another lady and she was the store manager or one of the managers her name was Jeanie I think, and she atleast looked at me when I asked but more politely gave me the same answer that she didn’t know. Ok I was fine with it and just stopped asking questions but when I was in the vitamins by pharmacy the same associate with short hair came up to me and accused me of stealing because I had been shopping to long. I had no problem letting her look in my bags to show I wasn’t but she continued to make a scene in front of the line of people at pharmacy and made me dump out my bags in the shopping cart. I was extremely embarrassed and she still didn’t believe me. I had to show her the things I got from each aisle I had been in. I had over a $200 worth of stuff and usually spend that much or more each visit. When she finally left me two of the customers made comments about it and she isn’t allowed to do that and I could sur. I am not that type of person but I wanted to atleast let the manager know so it doesn’t happen to someone else. When I asked to speak to the store manager the same manager from earlier, Jeanie, came to me and I told her what happened and it made me really upset. My husband has just passed away and the whole situation really hurt me since I have been such a loyal customer and hadn’t done anything wrong. The store manager didn’t say one word when I told her what happened. Literally not one word and looked at me like I was an idiot for being upset. At that point I gave her my cart of stuff and decided I would never go in there again. I was going to post a review but didn’t want to do anything when I was upset. Then today a guy on the street recognized me because I guess he was in the pharmacy that day and remembered. He said “hey aren’t you that lady who got busted stealing from Walgreens”. I couldn’t believe that’s what he thought. The other two customers were closer to me and knew I emptied out all my bags and hadn’t stolen anything. So I feel like I had to tell my experience and I have also let everyone I know about this as well as my job who use to send all of their patients to that Walgreens. We will no longer be doing that."
"Your employees picking and choosing which customers can and can’t use the restroom really lacks compassion. I understand policies, but they should he that way across the board. I hope you or your employees are never put in that kind of position, or maybe I do, and you will gain some type of compassion or respect."
"I've said it before and I'll say it again; I love Walgreens! Really, I do! They have everything, literally everything, except the one thing that you went there for...Funny thing about this fact is, i' m ever dissapointed! Ever! If one takes the extra 10 minutes to just stroll around one finds a vast array of strange and wonderful items that you would have never in million years thought existed, much less Walgreens carries! To me Walgreens is like getting on your hands and knees in a rain forest and really discovering that there is an underappreciated little world that we often miss...what I'm getting at is if you take your time and shop in Walgreens you will agree with me and give it five stars out of five stars! See you there! I'll be the one wearing the pith helmet...(Sold in back near the restrooms)"
"I have been using this pharmacy for 15 years. The last few months it has gone downhill fast. Terrible, rude employees. No care given what so ever to their customers. This is the last time I'll be using Walgreens pharmacy. It should not take 8+ hours to fill a simple prescription. Do better for the customers you are there for."
"God help you if you need to contact these people by phone. I needed medicine for my child's ear infection and the doctor screwed up the prescription so that insurance would not accept it and it needed to be made out as a new prescription. I was told the doctor needed to call in so I contacted the after hours line. The after-hours doctor on call tried to help and he was on hold for over 40 minutes and they never picked up. I myself have spent nearly 2 hours on hold with them including time I spent waiting in line at the store, watching them ignore the phone entirely as it rang and rang. I have tried to move my regular refill prescriptions to another pharmacy but guess what, these people ignore faxes from other pharmacies as well as calls from patients and doctors! Absolutely terrible service, which sucks because the staff themselves are nice. Unfortunately, nice does not cure ear infections. This place needs outside help to fix their workflow."
