"Pine Creek Vision Clinic has the best selection of affordable glass frames. The staff is friendly and professional. Amanda was very helpful in picking the perfect frame for my face and vision needs! Love my Jimmy Choo’s!"
"I have been going to this vision clinic for the past 2 years, and it has easily been my favorite. Of course, my primary doctor is a star resulting in my recurring appointments, I would like to extend some appreciation to the other staff members who may not as often receive positive feedback about their performance. Laura was the medical personnel who conducted my retinal scans, tonometry, vision acuity measurements, and other regular eye exams. I was very impressed with her in-depth knowledge and experience and even more so by the manner she went about this. Often, people who conduct repetitive tasks “go through the motions” apathetically while rushing to get them done. Laura did not have this absent mindset. She had the situational awareness to recognize not only that I am one of her patients but also someone who does not work in the medical field. She very eloquently spoke in a comprehensible pace and rhythm where I felt comfortable enough to ask any questions that I may have had. For example, she taught me new medical terminology - that I still cannot pronunciation - and explained the science behind how the equipment operates in relation to the biology and anatomy of the eyes. Her interpersonal skills fostered an empathetic environment where I could more easily discuss historical medical conditions that I find embarrassing. Laura is incontestably a great asset to this business due to her incredible technical background matching her amazing interpersonal skills. Amanda was the staff that helped me with billing, explained how my eye insurance worked, recorded my facial and ocular measurements, and processed the procedures to deliver my new glasses with my chosen lens properties. I was unfamiliar with the various provided manufacturing selections available such as differing fabrication methods or optical glass materials. She explained to me in a very easy to understand way what all the options were, how they would affect my sight and quality of optical lenses, and broke down the finances related to all of them to include how my vision insurance would affect the final costs. While I was browsing the racks of glasses to pick which one I wanted, she was very accommodating in regards to letting me know the additional choices that weren’t displayed but were available to order online. Amanda is a very approachable staff member and a pleasantry to talk with. Zach is another staff member who has assisted me with the procurement of my new prescription lenses for both of my visits so far. For both times, he has presented himself as a very warm individual which is a very desirable trait to have when working directly with the customer, client, and / or patients. During the small talks we have had while he helped me get the frames and lenses I wanted, it was apparent it is a very ambitious and hard-working individual with a good sense of humor. Furthermore, I recall both occasions with him specifically due to his amazing and unique sense of clothing attire. I picked up my glasses on a Wednesday where I noticed he was wearing all black sans the orange sneakers. He looks far too bleak during days that are not “casual Friday.” His colorful fashion was a joyful display of his personality and something that definitely helped make the overall office vibe more fun to be in. Zach is a great addition to the staff not only for his upmost capabilities to help serve the customers but also with his individuality which is one of the most important things when a team has to work together to problem solve. The other two remaining staff members I had the opportunity to work with were Megan and Ashley. Our interactions were not as long nor involved as those I have mentioned above, but I would like to state they both had very warm, sweet, and welcoming initial presentations. A successful business requires stellar contributions from staff members across all departments and responsibilities, and those I've listed above do that and more. 10/10 would go back again to fix my sh*tty vision."
"What can I say about this husband and wife team? It is myself, my wife and my three kids. They have been able to take care of all of us regardless of our needs, whether it is adult or pediatric. They are both exceptional with their insight, understanding, and explanation of the needs of our eye care. This is my first experience with a Eye care doctor, but I cannot believe that after all my years, there is anything that I did not understand or had reservations about working with this team. The staff was attentive and followed up religiously with when eyeglasses or additional care was needed. I would like to thank the doctors and staff at Pine Creek Vision for becoming part of the family"
"Everyone, from reception to the tech Joyce who did the tests, to Dr Kassie to the optical group, knows how to treat patients- kind, professional and fun. Dr Kassie has an incredible breadth of experience and expertise and my husband and I are grateful to have her as our optometrist. We highly recommend Pine Creek."
"I really liked Dr. Johnston, and was glad there was not a super long wait time to get an appointment. Unlike other reviewers I found the office staff friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, when I went to order my glasses, I really wanted to keep my old frames which I loved. They (and admittedly I) glossed over the paperwork, and I signed a waiver that said my frames might be scratched at the lab. After waiting just about a month, what came back was not a little scratch, but all the color gone from between the lenses, unwearable. I'm really disappointed and while I like the doctor, I want a one-stop shop and will probably not go back because of the lab they use. If you just want the prescription, I recommend them!"
