"I started doing acupuncture at Hawthorne Acupuncture & Integrated Medicine over the summer at the recommendation of multiple friends – initially to help with IVF, which then translated into help with my pelvic floor dysfunction. Prior to starting acupuncture, I had 2 failed IVF transfers. For us to statistically conceive naturally, our fertility doctors told us that based on our history of infertility, we had less than a 1% chance of that occurring. When I came to see Cheryl, I was feeling pretty hopeless about our fertility situation, but she encouraged me and listened to me. She thoroughly investigated and created a personalized acupuncture treatment to suit my needs, for both my fertility and pelvic floor needs. We continued to do acupuncture and the herbs that Cheryl said would help with my egg quality, uterine lining, and all the things. We know, without a doubt, that the acupuncture treatments helped us conceive naturally for the first time EVER, and we are so grateful to Cheryl and all her help through this wild and amazing experience! Cheryl is very knowlegeable and will instantly make you comfortable. "Cheryl is a magician when it comes to your health. She has a deep passion for finding the root of your problem and will try out various techniques and tools to make you feel better. She is very educated and is a continuous learner - attending seminars and learning what’s new in industry. Not only does she help with pain management and anxiety issues but she worked with me on labor prep. I started seeing Cheryl at about 33 weeks pregnant for labor prep - and I am SO grateful and humbled that I did (acupuncture w/ STIM therapy). About hour 3 of active labor I went from 4cm dilation to 8cm in 1 hour time span… which is unusual and very fast. Combined with proper nutrition and exercise… Cheryl’s work was a major contribution to a successful birth. The hormonal and cervical prep work was noticeable to my doula and nurse - they were shocked how quickly I progressed in labor. Fast forward post birth — I had back labor - tough - and this woke up some old back issues. Cheryl is currently seeing me for pain management / maintenance and getting me to feel normal again. I don’t know what I would have done with her and massage therapy post birth. Elizabeth and team are easy to schedule with and work together with - the office is a family vibe and cozy feel. Definitely 11/10 recommend coming here. You won’t regret treating/healing yourself."

"Cheryl is truly a life saver!! I’ve been working with her for a little over a year. I found her after I had struggled with miscarriage, she was such an amazing support system, sounding board, and the practitioner I needed to navigate that season. She was the first person I texted when I found out I was pregnant with my rainbow baby! Later on in my pregnancy, baby was still breech at 35 weeks. I worked with Cheryl who did both acupuncture and moxibustion. I pulled out all the stops to flip this baby and I am more than confident that he flipped while I was getting treatment from Cheryl!
