"This is strictly for the amazing young woman running self check out solo tonight. YOU GO GIRL! Thank you for helping everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible and for staying patient and polite when you literally couldn't turn around without someone else demanding something. I didn't get your name but I hope you get the recognition you deserve because your positive attitude stands out! Thank you!"
"Avoid this store at all costs. This store has dropped to new low... 5:30 dinner rush and they have now put in place a new store policy that self checkout is 25 items or less. There are 12 of these. They only have two attended checkouts available and their lines run clear to the back of the store. So instead of pulling one of FOUR people from self checkout to a register they would rather stand and scold those who dare use self checkout with more than 15 items because this line is non-existent. So now besides being one of the smallest stores that is constantly poorly stocked and understaffed, we have new corporate policy to contend with. SHAME ON KING SOOPERS. Avoid at all costs."
"I show up and there are no carts or baskets. I check out and all there is is self checkout (aisle 11 is where you line up to check out). I finally check out ,and there are no bags to put my groceries in. Staff your store or close it. Pay your employees a wage that encourages them to show up to work. Kroger is an embarrassment to this community."
"No Stars... I have never given no stars. And I don't write this many words, but no stars! After picking up 5 items, I got to the check out line, the clerk was having trouble at register 14 with the lady ahead of me. He went to get help came back with some other employee and that employee fixed that problem. The clerk then said to move to register 15 because there were no bills in his drawer. I moved to register 15 clerk opens register ant no bills in it, Take a guess how many bills were in 16, no bills in it either. Clerk comes back to register 15. I told clerk I am using a credit card. He did ask if I had a K.S. card. I said no, (I do but not with me), but I have my phone number. The clerk was done ringing my purchase, before I could finish my phone input. I was not given any discounts on my purchase. Now I had to get a manager called twice from customer service to start a refund. Then I have to go with manager to another checkout from customer service to get my refund. The manager fumbled the password on that register 3 times even though another employee was telling her 3 times what the password was and had to finally enter it himself. I was questioned about mt. dew prices, and the last employee tried to jump the rope chain in a checkout lane and had to put it back up, before saying yes it is on sale. As we're the 2 pieces of smoked salmon. The employee had to walk the manager through providing an "alternate" refund so they did not want to rerun the order and run it again with the discounts. I did get it refunded and they put the difference back on my card. The store had 2 full service checkouts open, only half of the self checkouts open. 1 customer service person and no organization at 5:30p.m. on 2-29-24. This was a Laurel and Hardy show from clerk to management. I spent an extra 10 minutes just waiting, 15 minutes total. I have been going to K.S. for 35+ years and have never seen so much that needs to be corrected in one store. This was a circus."
"I go to King Soopers. They have everything I need and everything I want. It very convenient and close drive. People are very friendly and nice. Yes, you have to wait in line, but you get what line to wait in other places. So what's the difference. Wherever you go you have to wait in line. So my thing is you got to have a lot of patience, patience, patience, I have that!!!!!!!!!!"
