Manitou Cog Hotel

"The place is older, but they are really working on updating. The bed was great. We slept so well. Staff was awesome. Great location."

"Dont stay here! Wow, what a dump. Got to this hotel with an open mind after reading some pretty terrible reviews. Well, I should've trusted my gut. The rooms were extremely small, dirty, holes in the curtains, shower didn't drain, walls were super thin and dirty, Towel hangers were command strips, view was of an old run down building about 2 feet out of the window, the vanle box was on the ground pulled through a huge hole in the wall so the temote didnt even work with it. Oh, and not to mention the owners/workers/friends at any time had 4+ dogs loose running around the lobby and parking lot, making it challenging to get our leashed dog to our room. I get they are under construction, but the time and attention should be spent in the rooms first. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights and just decided to leave and find a new place after just 1 night eating the cost. It was, however, a great dog kennel for the day, so there was that."

"I’ve stayed here twice now and I love this place. From the street you’d think it was a dive, but it’s a fixer upper. Rooms are basic but clean. The location is b-e-a-utiful. Staff were very nice and seem genuinely that way. 10/10 will stay again when we come again"

"WORST. MOTEL. EVER. If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place is a dump run by criminals who will rob you blind. This place may look legit but don't be fooled. You're safer staying in a trap house that rents rooms by the hour. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MONEY!!!!"

"Very nice, clean rooms, friendly staff. Great place to stay if you want to climb Pikes Peak or the Manitou Incline. I enjoyed the pool after a long hot day at work and I see they're installing a spa and a nice deck area for barbecuing or partying. Next time I'm in town I will stay here again."
