"We are so grateful to be living here! We love the privacy, quiet, our friendly neighbors and access to parks. The director, management, maintenance staff are patient, professional, responsive and kind. They do everything they can to support ALL folks in our community."
"Living here has been quite an ordeal. The landlord’s behavior has been unhelpful and hostile, even resorting to yelling while walking away. The focus on maximizing funding by cycling through tenants has left those who stay longer feeling devalued. They employ various tactics to encourage residents to leave, stopping short of outright asking them to move. My front door was kicked in by a woman who lives in the same building while she was holding a bolt action rifle while high on meth in the middle of the night. Literally nothing was done and absolutely zero response. A felony was committed and they refused to press charges. The woman still walks free roam the property with a gun. Also she drives an uninsured unregistered vehicle with no license plates and they let it stay in the parking lot. She is going to hit a car and we will be stuck with damages or worse a child. The living conditions have severely deteriorated, with constant disturbances including loud noises, fights, and drug-related items. The view outside is marred by these disturbances, and the property has become an unpleasant place to live. An individual living in the parking lot for over a year exemplifies the extent of the issue. The frequent police presence, with over 110 incidents within a year, is alarming and easily verifiable through the Fort Collins police Neighborhood crime map. Efforts to address these problems by reaching out to higher-ups have been met with minimal response, leaving the impression that issues are being swept under the rug. Incidents of theft and attempted break-ins persist without effective intervention. The overall situation points to a dire need for change. The housing complex’s condition is far from acceptable, with mold issues and water damage that are ignored. The landlord’s absence and the use of unlicensed contractors for repairs have led to poor living conditions. It’s evident that a comprehensive restructuring is imperative. Hiring well-trained individuals who understand the challenges faced by those with limited resources is essential. The behavior of the landlord and the general approach to management need significant improvement to create a secure and livable environment for all residents."
"We love our property manager, Mis Krystal she is amazing an she actually gets things done"
"Care Housing was my first placement as a social worker. I loved it because it fit my values- having been born in public housing and supported affordable housing through public policy. Care is now supporting the new FC land dev. code that eliminates single family zoning while offering minimal affordable housing incentives. Shame on Care for this politically insensitive and misguided effort where individual property rights were overridden in exchange for insufficient affordable housing incentives. Personal property rights are not in opposition of affordable housing iniatives!"
"I know apartment renting is not always perfect.. but I honestly don't know where my family would be without Care Housing! Within the span of a few years we lived in 2 different communities of theirs, including Provincetowne and Greenbriar. Everybody we worked with - including Tatiana, Crystal, Alex, and Josh and Erin from maintenance - kind, respectful, and accommodating. I have two toddlers and we were always comfortable and attended to. Care Housing was a blessing for us, and came with many other great opportunities. You guys are amazing!! Sincerely, thank you guys for all that you do!"
