Mountain View Lodge

"I've had the pleasure to stay in the Mesa Verde Suite twice now on different trips through Colorado. The first time was for a week in 2020. (It was the first time I'd used Airbnb and my stay here provided such a positive experience of the service.) As such, this was my first choice for lodging when I returned to the Delores area this year. Todd and JanElle are welcoming and attentive hosts. The suite is clean and spacious and the king bed is comfortable. Having use of the kitchen as common space with other guests was very convenient. The location is peaceful and perfect for exploring all the sites in the area. I highly recommend Mountain View Lodge to anyone traveling to this area. I definitely plan to return again on future trips to Colorado."

"I love this place and I find myself staying here whenever I pass through the area. The hosts are always making improvements to the lodge and you can tell that they care about cleanliness too! My sister and I always enjoyed the breakfasts and always found a good view from the front porch: morning, afternoon & night."

"The reason for 4 stars is because the breakfasts were okay and there were dogs next door that kept barking through the night. But, I greatly enjoyed my stay here. I had the Mesa Verde suite and it could not have been more spacious and perfect! The place was pristine and the mountain views were exactly what I needed for my getaway. JanElle is super sweet and friendly. I would definitely love to return again. :)"
