"UPDATE #2: I saw Dr. Genovely again yesterday for a follow-up. He claimed he couldn't see last year's ECHO, which would explain why he thought this year was my first ECHO. And it was explained to me that sometimes these doctors work in the emergency room and are too busy to get around to refilling prescriptions in a timely manner. However, Dr. Genovely should be aware, I feel, of the way in which he presents the ECHO results. I was moderately scared something was wrong. UPDATE: Looks like the prescription was finally sent in on the 14; my pharmacy just didn't have an up-to-date phone number. I saw Dr. Gary Genovely a few weeks ago for a routine follow up appointment. I have a clinical condition requiring annual cardiovascular visits and testing. I’ve had this condition for years, so Suffice it to say that I am intimately familiar with the kind of testing required. Dr. Genovely’s professionalism was underwhelming. During the appointment, he treated me as if this was my first time ever having been to a cardiologist. But, at least he ordered the test I needed, so my troubles with him are over, right? Wrong! I need a new prescription for my condition, which he said he would fill. I still do not have that prescription, even though I called the clinic and a staff member indicated she’d put the prescription in a queue. At this point, I do not fault said staff member. This is entirely on Dr. Genovely."
