"I previously posted a review, my first week of going to this school. This is my update after moving on to high school. I will not be naming anybody for the sake of privacy. I'd like to say that I appreciate everything this school has done for me, and all of the staff who genuinely cared about their students and their well being. Many teachers were guiding and helpful in the blossoming of students at such a critical age. The three stars I am giving are explicitly for the handful of teachers that genuinely nurtured growth. However, many many teachers flat out bully students. I had a specific scenario where a teacher I had, intentionally failed me in their class because they didn't like me. And told me this multiple times. Many staff react out of anger rather than rationality and often times serious situations are not handled correctly within the office. Many teachers have cursed students out and handled classrooms poorly. I cannot speak for the new principal as I moved on right as the old principal did. But I've only heard good things about her. I will say that the WIN program for seventh and eighth grade was personally unattainable for me as I had things going on at home and in my life and couldn't always attend. This prevented me from going on the end of the year trip. I was never upset about this, because I knew I couldn't go to WIN if I wanted to, but if you're an incoming student, I do advise you go, or talk to your counselor. And yes, WIN is basically homework detention. It is NOT optional no matter how many times you hear that load of garbage. Don't let any teacher tell you otherwise. I had a bad experience with the counselors, often being accused of having problems I didn't have. I know it may have been in the best interest of me, but often times these situations were handled poorly, not just with me but with my parents as well. I have a medical condition that causes me to pass out and get migraines often. This was not taken seriously all the time if certain staff were supervising the clinic, but there were two office people / nurses who treated me very kindly and understood. Overall I think this school is good if you're academically inclined, artistically inclined and a very Motivated teachers pet. I think some office things and emotional behaviors of staff could definitely be improved. I think the teachers and staff are very hit or miss. In the end it's really just up to you if you have the choice."
"I cringe at giving this school even one star. Incompetent and rude staff. They get all the good teachers is 6th grade and that’s how they hook ya. Grades 7 and 8 are complete hell."
"Great school. Had many positive experiences there back in my days."
"We love this school! Principal and staff is amazing! Great G&T program and the core team set up is outstanding. Our home school is Powell and we chose to send our kids here."
"We absolutely love Euclid Middle School. A great place for all kids. "Every Student a Leader" is a one-of-a-kind program!"
