For example, my 4th grader is learning the virtue of Temperance through the practice of planning a brunch party in the classroom. "We have had a fantastic experience at St. Mary’s and highly recommend the school. We moved to Colorado mid-school year due to my husbands job change, and they were incredibly welcoming to my son. We were paired with a “buddy family” who had children similar ages which made my son feel comfortable his first few weeks, and as a parent that resource helped me get adjusted quickly in our new environment. What I love most about St. Mary is the way they care for our children - developing the whole person both academically and spiritually. They are truly our “partner” and want to see our children achieve great success. Clear communication is important to us so we appreciate having regular contact with their teachers. We receive weekly notes about what they will be learning which helps me know what is expected of the students. An added bonus to the academics is the community at St. Mary. Many parents attend the weekly mass on Fridays, and there are many groups parents may join to meet each other and work together to support the school. Overall it feels like a wonderful place for our family to be and we are so thankful to have found it!"
