"We are newer to the area, my youngest child is now a Sophomore. I've had experience with 2 other high schools in different states with my older children - CHS has been WONDERFUL on many levels. The teachers are OUTSTANDING, there is a high level of parent involvement, the administrative staff is very nice and go above and beyond to communicate and help parents and students, and the football coaching staff treats all the kids and parents like they're family and they work tirelessly all year to help support the kids well beyond football. Those are my experiences with this school. As far as the reviews that complain about the drug use in this school - I'm 47 years old, was raised in the Bible Belt, attended high school in a small and very conservative Southern Baptist community (Bolivar, MO - Home of Southwest Baptist University). Drug use was rampant in our high school 30+ years ago, and still is to this day. This issue is an AMERICAN problem, not a school problem."

"Teachers and Staff: Interesting and involved. Been to 3 high schools and Chatfield had the coolest and most caring. School lunch and cleanliness: always clean from bathrooms to eating area and in classrooms. Snacks and food is pretty good and offers a lot. Classes: I liked having class everyday and off periods. You get more done I feel like. Students: Can't expect everyone to be nice. It's highschool. Met some good people though. More mature and not as clicky then any school I've ever been too. My experience was pretty good and i'm glad I graduated a Charger!"

"This school is a horrible representation of how a school should be run. Went there freshman year and Everyone did drugs or were total jerks. Every one of my friends that go there hate it at Chatfield."
