"The emergency is a joke. My niece went for a broken arm and wait for 6 hours to be seen my father had to go get the nurse and doctor. The doctor came in did nothing and discharged them. They didn’t cast the arm they didn’t even wrap it my sister and my father had to do it. They had to hound the nurses station to discharge them. Then the discharge nurse came in complaining that they got a paper cut and it hurt and here is my niece with a broken arm and they did nothing. If I could give 0 stars I would have. Joke, joke, joke."
"Arrived at 4 am for the birth of my grandson, waiting for 30 minutes at vallet parking for any employee to show up. The excuse was a gun shot victim arrived, but no idea what that had to do with parking attendants. Then went to Starbucks on the main floor for a coffee, waited another 35 minutes for someone to show up to sell me an over priced old cup of coffee. Then waiting in the waiting room, the nurse informed me that she would notify my when I could go back in the room with my daughter but no one came to tell me. Horrible bedside manner’s today. Not at all what I’m used to here"
"The staff at Children's Hospital Colorado Springs NICU need to learn to listen to the parents of the patients, learn the difference between options and an ultimatum, and (especially for the nursing staff) need to quit spreading gossip about the patients, and their families. You work in a professional medical field. Not on the View."
"Best nurses EVER!! Are baby had to go to the NICU for blood sugar not stable. The 4 days we were in there all the nurses were helpful and helped lower our stress. After day 1 we felt the nurses attended us and our baby 110%."
"My little one, unfortunately, spent her first 7 weeks in the NICU, but I can definitely say there couldn't be any better place than this one. With the exception of a few nurses and doctors, who I wasnt too keen on, the rest of the staff is great. I especially appreciated how everything was focused on getting my little one. Not to much a bad thing, but they were super persistent on my well being. They are so kind and thoughtful. I wouldnt wish the NICU on anyone but this is your best bet."
