"Your roofers are the most inconsiderate and messy people around. They have zero respect for the tenants of the homes and apartments they do roofs for. The leave shingles and materials everywhere. They don’t pick up there personal trash. They park in residents spots that are not meant for them. And they overall jusy have some god awful manners and sure as hell don’t make the company look good."
"I would like to know how Todd Butler sleeps at night! His company did sloppy work for my elderly mom several years ago, when confronted about it she was told he would be out to address the issues. To this day , he hasn't honored his word! He was specifically told to use plywood, which my mom was billed for and paid an extra $350.00 dollars for. Todd took complete advantage of her, took her money and installed osb board instead. And NEVER refunded her her money! He never completed the permit process to this day and now she is being threatened with a lien against her property at the age of 87 years old by Mesa County, as well as being held accountable for all parts of his job that is found unexceptable. Several family members have tried to resolve this issue but he refuses to take our calls or respond to any messages. My mom finally received a call from Todd a few days ago stating that he would show up the following day with an inspector, but once again, he NEVER showed up, called her or honored his word! She now has to pay Mesa County for a permit and inspection out of her limited income and pray that they won't demand additional improvements in order to pass the inspection! Old school roofing should pay her back the $350.00 that she was billed for plywood, which "WAS NOT USED" along with "ALL" other expenses she endures! I would "NEVER" recommend hiring Old school roofing to anyone!!!!!"
"Worthless. Doesn’t pay his help / Subs. In w City manager so nothing will ever happen to license. City Managers house was free labor: as the crew never got paid. And had the cops called on them by Todd cause they wanted paid. Butler Roofing is an Ali’s cause so many upset and possibly lawsuits. There’s another company he goes by as well. Dont trust him. There is no employees. He can’t keep them."
"I hired Todd Butler to re-roof my home and a new roof on a garage (built up roof), insulation on the home and gutters on both buildings. After 6 months, the asphalt started sliding down and parts of it off the roofs over and into the gutters. Pictures to show. The gutters have leaks behind them so water is dripping on the facia boards. 1.5 years+ I have been dealing with this ongoing problem. Todd and an employee have been out numerous times to work on these issues, but the issues continue. I cannot believe the fixes will correct the problems as the problems continue. At several stages, Todd Butler was not responding to my text, so I started investigating and after a month of reviewing building codes, calling manufacturers and reading manufacturers guidelines, I found that Todd Butler did not install my roofs per manufactures guidelines. Recent conversation with Todd Butler, he stated he did a custom installation of the built up roof and admits he did not follow manufactures guidelines. You decide for yourself on hiring Todd, but I do not recommend him or his company. I spoke with 3 roof consultants who state I will continue to have problems. Todd response these are just opinions. Will you hire a roofer who does not follow manufactures guidelines??"
"If some one else need this kind of service - I would strongly recommend the "Old School Roofing" company. My husband is very busy person at his work... So, I am a women, had have to deal, mostly, with this thing as a roof installation on our house. Some questions, discussions, details - I am not really good at this kind of things about a roof. But, we didn't have any trouble or problem. I could see that the owner of the company is very organized and responsible. Todd Butler is working owner of the company, he did a perfect job for us. He is dependable and you can count on him."
