"Zero stars. Arrived at 12:30pm with my 10 yr old granddaughter and her year old cat with a 2-2 1/2” inch bleeding cut on leg. There was a couple waiting with a dog. We were moved to an exam room after 20 mins and told the doctor would be in shortly. They took the cat after 45 mins. After being told once that he had an emergency and twice more it would be soon he finally came in at 3:15 with the treatment plan and the estimate. I was floored. The “estimated” low end was $1025. The high was $1250 if we wanted blood work done. I declined the blood test. He told us it would take about 2-3 hours and would call me when done. I called them at 6:30 was told it would be another 10-15 mins so I went with my 5 and 10 yr olds getting there by 7:15. I was immediately told by the woman at the desk that I owed $106. When I asked why she couldn’t tell me. I asked to see doctor. He said he had nothing to do with billing. Some examples “small bandage” $57. Plastic gloves $20. “Minor surgical kit” $190. There were 25 separate charges listed. When I questioned the bill I could get no real explanation. It was now closing in on 8 pm and I finally realized that they were holding the cat hostage until I paid. This was with two young children tired and having to go home. After I made it clear they could bill me since I had no way to pay that amount then and insisted on getting the cat they still kept it away. I suggested that they call the police to clear this up so they finally brought it out and we left. The entire fiasco took almost 8 hours. NEVER AGAIN I want to make it clear that I had already paid the $1025. The $106 was additional which couldn’t be explained."
"They were very attentive. Being aware that you may have to wait if someone more critical comes in is probably something I had not thought about. Appreciate the staff they were friendly and my kitty can home with a course of care. They followed up the next day to see how she was doing."
"Great clinic- was very happy to find this place when I had a sick cat who couldn’t wait over the weekend for an office visit with his regular vet. The tech and the doc were both really kind and knowledgeable. This is a professional clinic that cares for sick animals in their time of need- no fuss, no frills, no upselling, etc. I really wish all veterinary clinics were like this!"
"Everyone in the clinic was so helpful with my sick little munchkin. I felt heard, and informed the entire way through Atlee’s visit. The care she received was so thoughtful. Now she’s back to her sassy, bossy self!"
"My cat had jumped out of the windowsill and got caught in the blinds and I took him to this ER. While there the vet made a snide remark about our financial situation and threatened to call animal control if we didn’t turn our cat over by 11am the next day. Super awful experience. I also want the vet who ‘helped’ us know we were able to afford the surgery he needed and he’s back home and doing well. Your people skills are a 0/10. My actual vet was appalled by these remarks made. Do better."
