"This place is amazing. I took my cat here for over a year and Dr. Andrew is the best of the BEST. My cat has several medical issues and he always knew how to best help her. We moved to Oregon and we still call him for answers and he never hesitates to give his advice. Highly highly recommend this place and Dr. Andrew."
"Great people to work with. I even helped hold my cat down while they were getting blood. My cat has mild kidney problems, the food is prescription. Buying the food from them is way less expensive than Amazon."
"This was my first visit to Lakewood Veterinary Hospital. The visit went way beyond my expectations. Dr . Graddy spent a lot of time with me and my dog. She answered all my questions in ways that I could understand and gave me suggestions of things to try with my dog’s behaviors. I never felt rushed and I felt she had a genuine care and concern for my dog. I would recommend this vet hospital."
"I’m lucky to live so near to such a good veterinary hospital! Dr Graddy has taken great care of Brutus and Yogurt, and is very patient with me and all the concerns I have about my aging furry companions. Lakewood Veterinary Hospital has helped me to improve my pets’ quality of life beyond my expectations, I can’t recommend them enough!"
"Whenever I first started to go here I thought it was a pretty good vet. As time has gone on I feel like they’re a little bit more money hungry than anything. My cat has been having swollen lymph node issues for the past couple months. I took him in whenever I first had noticed it all for them to barely check his mouth and tell me “if it’s still swollen in a month bring him back.” then charged me over $130 just to say that. I did indeed have to bring him back. a better vet came in this time. She actually checked his teeth and told me more information about what could be going on. Costed another $130+. She told me to bring him back for a screening that was supposed to cost around $200 was what she told me and she said they wouldn’t charge me for the vet to see him since they already knew what was going on. Whenever I came back my totally was over $330 and my recipe said I had a remaining balance of $88 along with whatever else they charged me. I was in the vet a week prior to that to get both of my cats shots updated and paid over 130 for that as well out of pocket so I do not understand how there would be a remaining balance. Anytime I’ve asked for a receipt it’s never been fully detailed to what I’m paying for. I’ve seen them multiple times for this swollen lymph issue and it’s taken them awhile to come to the conclusion of doing labs. I wish I would have just asked for them to do labs first before they kept acting like I was being dramatic and charging me hundreds of dollars just to hear the same answer until one of them actually decided to fully look inside of his mouth. I am a younger cat mom so I feel like they took advantage of me being worried about my cats health and saw me more as a paycheck then a concerned owner."
