"I love Nordstrom Rack! The workers were nice and very helpful. I got these lovely shoes for a reasonable price. Ninety dollars at fifty percent off. I'm very pleased with my experience and I can't wait to go back. (:"
"Extremely disappointed with the store today. We’ve been shopping here for years. Now, suddenly, most of the racks and rounders in the men’s department don’t have size placards or sizes on the hangars. As a result, you have to hunt through countless items to try and find a size. Not only is it incredibly maddening, but my wife has health issues and her hands don’t work well so trying to find sizes on a shirt collar or tag is difficult; especially with so much merchandise stuffed on the racks. Normally I’d spend hundreds of dollars at the Rack for Christmas. I’m so angry at this merchandising fail I walked out of the store."
"I would think twice before buying a suit here. After hunting around through several pairs of suit pants I pieced together a Penguin suit. It was a red flag to me that so many of the pairs of pants were snagged, but I thought, meh it's Nordstrom Rack, they have a solid return policy which allowed me to feel comfortable making the purchase from them as apposed to other retailors. I know this about the return policy because I used to work for Nordstrom Rack. Anyways, I had to get the suit tailored. I wore the suit for a wedding and when I went to take the pants off the button popped off. Sure, it's not an expensive suit, but I have cheaper flannels that don't have buttons popping off after several years of wear. I decided to take it back because when you pay money for something as expensive as a suit can be, it shouldn't be doing that after one wear--I wasn't even going to try to get a refund for the alterations because she did a nice job. The manager with the auburn hair told me they couldn't take back the suit because the alterations made it unsellable... Of course you shouldn't resell it, it's got a button falling off. She did try to make it right by saying their seamstress could reattach the button, but that was going to mean I'd have to leave it with them and then pick it up again, making for the fourth trip from Littleton to take care of a suit I don't even know I'm going to wear again. And you may say to yourself, it is just a button, but then that makes me wonder what they would have done if it were a bigger deal then a button, like what if the weave had started coming apart, or what if it was a designer suit with the button popping off? My point is more about policy and standing behind the product you sell regardless of how big or small the purchase is--that's what I was taught when I worked at Nordstrom Rack before. In fact, one time when I worked there, I had a gentleman try to return his altered pants because of a defect. I told him the same thing the manager with the auburn hair said to me over my suit. Only later on I was brought to the back by my store manager because the altered pants guy later complained about me. My manager said that because the pants had a defect, we could indeed take them back regardless of the alterations. So either Nordstrom Rack policy has changed, or auburn hair lady made the same mistake I did. Either way, when you spend money like that, try to take it to a place that will actually appropriately stand behind it's products and not try to duct tape them back together."
"Great assortment of brands clothing and I was fall in love with cashmere sweaters, really good quality. Dressing rooms are very large and comfortable. People who work there do good service and always friendly and helpful"
"Well it happened. Tonight, I went to Nordstrom Rack with a specific thing in mind. A crossbody bag, of a certain size and material. There's one I've been eyeballing at a store in the mall, and holy hell if that bag wasn't sitting on the clearance rack waiting for me. Pretty sure I'll find something I need every time I go to NR but now I know that I may actually find the magical thing I've been looking for. Shop on, my friends."
