Office Depot

"I was just suddenly fired for printing out my own artwork here even though when I was hired I told them that is literally why I want to work here, mind you I never abused this privilege I printed out very minimal material most of which I paid for. The problems started when they weren't able to train me properly because there computer system is so old and broken even the people who have been there for years still dont completely know what they are doing so I was assisted the entire time while printing off my artwork never once was told anything to the contrary until I was fired suddenly, the manager lane just becomes extremely ill tempered towards employees he doesn't personally want to work with anymore, idk what I did to him but I noticed a sudden change in attitude toward me a few days before, addressing it with my other manager she told me Im doing just fine he's just stressed about inventory and to not worry but I also heard from other employees and saw first hand that the turn around rate is REALLY high at this store and I'm starting to figure out why, he also sited tardiness as a reason but I was only really late one time in the two months I worked here (30 minutes) due to the bus apologized as I showed up was never warned or anything about this or the printing issue, mean while I had to wait outside EVERY day I was scheduled for morning shifts sometimes up to 30 minutes past when I was scheduled just waiting for my manager to show up late some days in negative degree temperatures and never complained I CAN'T believe he even said tardiness after his track record ...I'm definitely taking this issue to corporate as I would have loved to work for office depot and get to actually learn more about the printing side of the company but wanted to share my experience to maybe save another poor soul the same bad experiences of working with this man."

He knew where everything was and got me in and out of the store quickly with everything I needed!! He had great product knowledge and a wonderful personality. Awesome employee! "Although the shopping center this store is in looks a little rundown, the store itself is great. We were shopping for desks and chairs and found that the best selection and deals here. Also, the sales associates were friendly and helpful when we were ready to make our purchases. I've shopped here in the past for smaller items and had good experiences in those instances as well. 5 stars!"

"Brought back a completely unused ink cartridge that was $115 dollars. I bought the wrong size originally. Because it was past the two week policy on returns the manager or lead said there was absolutely nothing he could do. No exchange which is what I was trying to do. No credit and no discount. I do a lot here for business. I will go somewhere else."
