"Lakewood Home Depot rental center is a literal waste of time and full of complete idiots… I rent a truck and get home and can’t use the hitch because it’s locked. I call them to see why and they say they can only tow THEIR equipment with a rental… DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION BEFORE RENTING! If I’m renting a tool and can only use PART of the tool, it should be CLEARLY EXPRESSED WHEN RENTING. I shouldn’t have to ASK if I can use the whole truck. I shouldn’t have to ask if I can use INDIVIDUAL parts of a rental truck? Can I use the stereo!?!? Can I use the windows!?!?!? I didn’t even get that far… Rent the ENTIRE truck or disclose if I can’t… DO BETTER HOME DEPOT!"

"Management needs to talk to the staff about helping customers on the floor. I've now had two occurrences where I was needing help, looking around and the staff member was very dismissive, not interested at all at helping me. It's like the polar opposite of customer service. They seem to not want to be bothered. It's really unfortunate. I worked retail for many years and was trained to be as helpful as possible. Some of the staff members here are not given incentive to do that."

Her friendly, positive customer service combined with her excellent attention to detail made the process so much easier than we thought it would be.
