"Lengthier return policy & better deals than at Goodwill - worse customer service & worse overall return policy I can't overstate the pros enough. This is what the Arc is here for. As for the cons, I worked at Goodwill until recently, so I know what to expect from thrift store customer service. Unfortunately, I have a negative experience about half of the time, which is too high for me. They will also happily sell you defective electronics, and then refuse to give a refund with a receipt. It's spineless of the company to not take responsibility for their own broken goods because they assume ownership over donations the second they obtain them. Don't come here for the experience; come here for the goods. Except for electronics, of course, which are not worth the risk."
"i walk everywhere as i don’t have a vehicle. i only live about half a mile from this arc location so i was SO excited when they reopened! that excitement quickly turned to disappointment and sadness when i couldn’t come in to shop because i brought my backpack to carry all my things home?! if they are going to pay a rent a cop to work the door, why don’t you just check in the backpacks when people leave?! at least let them in the store. they discriminated against a whole group of people who actually NEED third stores bc we are low income and don’t have vehicles. but with the prices at arc now, i’m better off shopping at ross. at least i can bring my backpack in there ):"
"I’ve come here a few times and yet to find something good. They have a wide selection, but not a lot of high-quality items in my experience. Will continue to go and update review if I find anything good. Also, each time I come here they only have one person working at the register in the line gets pretty big. I would definitely budget in time to wait in line at the end."
"Arc is humble, and a sure safe preservation haven for the youth and all surrounding. I love Arc thrift Stores being here on earth. This one is my particular favorite one. I thank God for it. Paul, Ed & Donna, are very special and professional managers. I noticed how much the employees were in love with their jobs and the place was always very well organized though busy as usual... Fossils can be found here."
