"Decent stuff, friendly staff. The lady told me certain items were 50 percent off. I went ahead and got a bunch of stuff that was on sale, she gave me the half off price at checkout, but then ended up charging me the full price later on my card which is very unprofessional and unlawful? Did she think I was not going to notice? I would not of mind paying the full price, however why scam people by misleading them. I will not be visiting this establishment again after this experience. Watch for prices, they will charge the retail price on certain items, do your research before you agree to pay for a consignment item."

"I loved it.. bought some good clothes but the Coach purse was glued by where the metal ring holds the leather.. so it's no good for 28$ otherwise if I wouldn't have had that happen I would have gave all stars."

"Today is my first experience with this store. Was excited to find a consignment store in Glenwood & called as I wanted to leave 8 pair really nice jeans. However, she is absolutely the rudest person I’ve talked to in a very long time, so I decided not to ruin my day and left the jeans at Defiance Thrift shop. I would’ve been there 15 minutes past her deadline for excepting things for the day. Even though I told her I was on the way to Denver, that we were just leaving the doctor and would be right there….I don’t know, I was just shocked. People at Defiance are always so nice! They made my day. I will take stuff to Basalt Heirlooms from now on. They are very nice also!"
