"Pros: The location near hiking and Silverton was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were beautiful. Cons: Road noise is bad. One pit toilet for 20+ campsites. For the price of the site for long multi night stays, including a few shower tokens is needed. You can’t swim or wade in the lake."
"Hosts were very nice. Stopped in and they had a spot for the night. Location was beautiful, nice view of the lake. Only issue was the deer mice. They invaded our camper and chewed chewed chewed. Ugh! Thankfully we had traps. By 3 am the last trap snapped."
"This is the most beautiful campground I have ever seen. This idyllic little lake is surrounded by mountains. We saw deer and chipmunks. It is home to a bald eagle pair as well as osprey. The campground superbly maintained by a friendly staff who will go out of their way to make sure you are well cared for. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner campground with roomy sites. Thank you especially to Natasha and Fernando for making our stay so pleasant. If you are a hugger give Natasha one for me."
"Cannot recommend this campground enough. We spent 5 nights here and will definitely be back. The showers and vault toilets were incredibly clean. The service was fantastic and far more than we were expecting for a minimal campground. Thanks so much for an excellent visit."
"Beautiful campground. Camp Host was extremely friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Very clean facilities! We booked URV1 which is on a hill with 3 other sites. They are close but the view is spectacular. There is highway noise but it did not bother us. It really slows down around 9p and is very quiet at night. Extremely family friendly activities like paddleboards and kayaks. The fishing was great! The Colorado Divide Trail runs through the property. This place is really gorgeous."
