"*Update* We visited again this past week and it wasn't as good as the first time. The rice was a little crunchy and the pork (chuletas) was dry, although the sauce was tasty. $23.95 for the chuletas was overpriced for what we got. The fish tacos were some of the best we've ever had. Flaky, moist and perfectly cooked. Our bill came to $60.00 for 2 entrees, 1 horchata and one beer during happy hour, not including a 20% tip. I know that the server has no control over how the bill is required to be presented, but holding the little machine in front of me and turning your head while I choose the tip gives me in an uncomfortable feeling. *Original review* Fabulous restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. The owner Angel and his staff really know how to make guests feel welcome. Get the salsa sampler- it's so good. The food was fresh and tasty and the portions are big. The chicken enchiladas were full of tasty chicken that was tender and plentiful. The black beans are very yummy and done perfectly. We drove about 20 min to get here and are so happy we did. On Saturdays they make donuts which we bought to go because our happy bellies were so full."

"Fresh Baja California style Mexican food! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! I love the decor and atmosphere inside this place, it’s very clean inside! We had the carnitas burrito and carnitas locas, and our kids had quesadillas. The empanadas and ice cream for dessert was delightful. The food was excellent, fresh, colorful and tasty. In fact the food was so tasty looking we ate it up so fast that I forgot to get pictures. The staff were very friendly and were excited to go back for fish tacos on Fridays!"

"We had the caldo de Pollo, carnitas locas, and the flan with goat milk caramel and pecans. The soup had such a depth of flavor and was not lacking in meat at all. The vegetables, including the chayote were tender but not mushy and just very fresh tasting. It's giving matzoh nap soup a running for best chicken soup! The carnitas were cooked perfectly and just fell apart when you ate them, but not dry at all. Their homemade tortillas and salsas...muahhh Rosalina, was so so kind and incredibly attentive, she made the meal even more enjoyable! Also, incredible bar wth tequila and mezcal flights and cocktails abs margaritas not to be missed!"

"Ok..this establishment has earned its reputation. You cannot go wrong if you are dealing authentic Mexican and Tex Mex recipes. Also, gluten free is a strong reason to consider for lunch or supper. Family owned and run. Our go to for Mexican meals."

"Cool place. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients. Tastiness of food will really depend on what you order. My sister ordered the chicken enchiladas and was not impressed. Her food was a bit bland while mine (the chicken fajitas) was bursting with flavor. It was actually a bit too salty for my taste, but my sister and sons absolutely loved it. Their salsa was incredibly out of this world! So good that I bought some to take home. The one thing I can say is that, whatever you order, wether tasty or bland, everything tasted fresh and homemade, which I appreciate. Reasonable prices, great ambiance. All things considered, great place to eat."
