Monaco Inn Restaurant

"Expensive prices for very mediocre food. There are so many delicious Greek restaurants nearby, I'm not sure how this one has maintained its 4.5 stars. This place is not welcoming. I've never had such an awkward and uncomfortable time being ID'ed before. For ref, my husband and I are almost 30 and the way we were treated made us feel like the restaurant is battling a serious underage drinking problem because the distrust towards us was palpable from the get-go. As such, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I called ahead to make sure coming in with an hour till closing would be okay and it was still a very weird experience. We were definitely out of the restaurant by 9. Kind of a bummer. We live nearby and were hoping to find a new spot to frequent."

"I ordered their $20 roasted lemon chicken dinner with Greek potatoes. I got two potato wedges that amounted to about a quarter of a potato with unremarkable flavor, and roasted chicken that looked and tasted like any store-bought rotisserie chicken to-go. The chicken did not taste of lemon whatsoever. Dish served with chicken "jus", which didn't have any flavor. The side of hummus comes without pita. The extra pita that we asked for was not warm, not fluffy, and unremarkable. Unfortunately, maybe this business is struggling and they are cutting corners in the kitchen. Regarding the service - both women who waited the table seemed like they didn't want to do so, especially the second one. No interest in paying attention to my refillable drink. If the service would have been there, I wouldn't have written this review. The way we were treated was pretty bad, and the tables and clients behind us were been served better and more enthusiastically. Hope they improve."

"We Love Monaco Inn! Been coming here for years! Food is great and so is the service. Authentic Greek food here. If you haven't tried Monaco Inn, put it on your next outing. Highly recommend!"

"One of my favorites. Every experience I’ve had had been fabulous. The owners are very sweet and welcome you warmly. The staff is friendly and approachable. My favorite thing is the sense of community the Monaco Inn has. Many of the people you see are regulars and are greeted with a handshake and a smile. With all that is going on in the world and our lives, the Monaco Inn is a nice retreat to eat some good authentic food. Do yourself a favor and stop in or get food to go. 5 stars!"

"The food was really great, I had the Monaco plate and thought the turkey was amazing and the gyro was well prepared. Really good soup too, was fun to dip the pita in. Service was great. Just one thing that I thought was weird was there's no free wifi for a lounge. Highly recommend; great food and was refreshing to have that with a nice Greek beer."
