"We had a SCRUMPTIOUS impromptu date at La Loteria - got a seat without issues at 7:30pm on a Thursday. You do order first, but food came out so quickly. We got the mezcalaritas (one on the rocks with half spicy, half salty rim) and one frozen - both were delicious and the frozen one was very strong. Our food was delicious - the carne asada fries were loaded and the goat birria tacos were our favorite (picture includes pollo, lengua and barbacoa). The churros (yes, we are for two hours) game with chocolate ice cream which was a nice twist. All in all a lovely, casual, delicious choice."

"Trying the tinga de Pollo, I thought I found the best taco spot in town. Then I got to the Carne asada and the birria. I love the tenderness of the steak and how filling the tacos are. I wish they just had a little bit more flavor. The churros were absolutely disappointing. I have had many different types of churros but these just remind me of pretzels but with a lot less cinnamon sugar. Would I go back? Probably not. I would say the customer service was great though."

"You must order before you are seated. It’s a smaller restaurant so not really good for big groups of people. Food was fresh and service was fast. The chihuahuas fundido was so good and cheesy as an appetizer. Those enchiladas were the best I have ever had and highly recommend. They have a kids menu typically options. Didn’t get any of their alcoholic drinks but everyone there ordered one. Definitely would come back and recommend."

"Great spot for some Mexican inspired plates! The service set up is different than most restaurants, however there is signage regarding the 18% fee. Overall the staff was attentive and welcoming. The Jarri Loco was SO good! The burrito was also more than plenty!"
