"This is a great place to visit and it is also very economical. The entrance fee provides a tour guide with great knowledge of the items in the museum. You will get a ride in a trolley car, and you will get to see the reconstruction of an older trolly being refurbished by the museum personnel. You can take all the photos you want. The museum is open from nine thirty AM until three PM, Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday. All ages will enjoy the experience. This is where history comes alive.."
"Our group had such a great time on this tour. Ryan was full of information and able to answer all the different questions the kids and adults had for him. It was interesting to see the cars that have been restored and are in the process of being restored. Such a great little gem in our city!"
"Visited the Trolley Museum on a whim. Best museum we visited this trip... most knowledgeable guide showed us through their restoration shop and many of their carriages and stock. Could tell immediately that Ron, our guide and the other guys working there really know their stuff... not just about the trolley stock but also the area where the museum stands, which was originally Rock Island and its history."
"If you like Trolley's and Trains, this is a great museum to goto. There is a lot of history to see and hear. Their tours are great. All of the people are very knowledgeable and nice to meet. Definitely would recommend to visit."
"This is such a hidden little surprise in our city! So much history and fun! The tour guides were so knowledgeable and taught us in a fun way. There are so many pictures and displays of the trolleys and trains. My kids (10-18) loved it. It's a fantastic way to learn about the city. Know that the majority of the tour is in an unheated garage and outside so dress accordingly."
