"Lots of trails to walk and hike. I saw bikes riding out there. Parking is kind of limited but seemed enough for a weekday. Beautiful views!"
"Plenty of nice and challenging trails. Many of the paths are crossing paths so be sure to check your map frequently. After the recent snow, the trails are very muddy in some places so be prepared to get your shoes a little dirty."
"Great park, I live right next to it and use it as my main biking space, there are a lot of technical trails and also some easy ones. People are always friendly and don’t mind the bikers too much 10/10 would recommend."
"This is the most magical place I've been to so far, as it was my first time coming here from western Kansas. The 300+ foot elevation was a little challenging at first, but it was worth it for the views. The views outmatch the stuff that I am used to seeing on the High Plains. The people that I have come across walking the trails are super friendly (shoutout to Ellie and her dog, I am so glad I came across them -- they took me around a couple of trails!). The next time I come around, I intend on seeing more of Colorado Springs from any of the mesas or bluffs around!"
"I have played the playground for about an hour and a half. They have three different play areas within the same distance, and two sets of swings. Definitely a park for all ages. Lots of places to sit and watch your Kiddos. Also, a good amount of parking to accommodate the amount of people who were there. Then we went and drove up to the top of Palmer park to walk the trails. I love how dog friendly the place is even though we did not have a dog. The kids absolutely enjoyed seeing all the animals, and you could just see the happiness on the dogs faces being off leash and running around. We took a long walk down the hillside, and then into the tree lines. The trail was great. It had been raining for the past few days and it was not too muddy, but it was definitely muddy in some spots. Entrails also used by biking groups and we encountered a couple while we were a few miles in. We walked back up to the top, and then we drove down to Lot 12 to look and climb the rocks. The kids had so much fun and would definitely recommend this park. For kiddos who do not have a bunch of hiking experience. This was a great park to get their feet wet. It gives lots of beautiful views, and the trail really feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere instead of in the middle of town."
