Kissing Camels

Kissing Camels is a popular tourist attraction located at 2336-3818 North 30th Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. This institution is part of the Garden of the Gods Park, a registered National Natural Landmark with breathtaking views of 300' sandstone rock formations and the iconic Pikes Peak in the background.

Established in 1909 by Charles Perkins' children, the Garden of the Gods Park is a free public park that prohibits the manufacture and sale of intoxicating liquors and limits the construction of buildings to those necessary for park maintenance. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities at the Gateway to the Rockies, such as hiking, watercolors, and scavenger hunts.

The park is home to a diverse range of geological and ecological wonders, including rare plant and animal species. From new dinosaur discoveries to unique subspecies of ants, the Garden of the Gods is a haven for nature enthusiasts.

The Garden of the Gods Park and the Visitor & Nature Center are both free to the public, with different hours of operation depending on the season. The park is open daily from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm (Nov 1 - April 30) and 5:00 am to 10:00 pm (May 1 - Oct 31), while the Visitor & Nature Center is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the winter months and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in the summer months.
