Established in 1997, this 25-acre off-leash dog park in Bear Creek Regional Park features open prairie, hills, woods, and a stretch of Bear Creek. "This is hands down the greatest dog park that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I've been to a couple dozen dog parks in multiple states, and this one blows each and every other one out of the water. The park is absolutely huge. The terrain and nature that it has is also phenomenal. The bear creek running through the park makes for great play opportunities for your dogs. They have obstacle course structures there as well. The park is beautiful enough to just hike there even if you didn't have a dog with you."
"This is THE best dog park we’ve ever been to! It is huge, fully fenced, and has a creek flowing through it. Entry/exits are double gated, has bathrooms, water stations. My pups don’t feel like they are in a dog park here, they feel like they’re running free through nature with us and that is absolutely amazing. There are peaceful energies around and so many happy pups. The creek is a really really cool feature. Benches tucked everywhere, lots of trees. Its just like walking a trail buy the pups are unleashed ❤️ there’s also a large separate area for little pups and they get a spance of the creek too. There is a fenced training area and fenced kids playground. This dog park rocks!"
"Very large fenced-in dog park. This was my first time and probably my only time as we are not from the area. There's a separate small dog park, which is where we should've started, but since it was my first time, I didn't know there was an actual parking lot to access both. I parked alongside the large dog park where there were several cars parked. So we walked through the large dog area to get to the small dog are. There was a dog that wouldn't leave my small dog alone as we were walking through and when I seen it put it's teeth on my Daisy's head, I yelled at that dog to get off. The owner called me a b**** for it. So be warned that large dog owners tend to not care if they are aggressive towards small dogs. Otherwise, it was a good time. There's a little agility area, too, fenced off from the rest, inside the large dog area."
"MASSIVE dog park. I repeat, ENORMOUS dog park. Fun place not just for dogs, but their humans too! Public restrooms for the owner. Agility area. Creek for dogs. You HAVE to take your pups here! Small dog area too, but not as fun as the main area."
"My daughter, dogs, and I all absolutely loved this park! It's so beautiful, very nice atmosphere or vibe and great areas for training and various things to keep all safe and entertained! We will definitely going back when we're back in town, as we were visiting from out of town!"
