"I had a 5hp Craftsman Air Compressor with an Electrical motor that I found smoking when I came back from lunch. I was told by a friend of mine who was an electrician and he told me that it was shot. I figured that since it was 30 years old he was probably right. I was told by someone that it was probably the capacitor. He order me one and I installed it. It would start up and run for about 5 seconds than trip the breaker. I finally took it to AE Supply and they said I had the working capacitor. They sold me on for half the price that I paid on line, took it home and installed it and it worked perfect Been running great for the last 6 months!!!!
