"My mom lived in Cornerstone Commons in Johnston for about 12 years she loved living there. She had a 2 br and the space was perfect. They have a heated garage which is awesome with cold winters in Iowa. She had many many friends. There were planned activities and a living space snd kitchen that are. I’m in and a large room for events. The staff was wonderful and my mom loved them because they cared about her - Courtni is the on-site manager was wonderful with my mom. Rick is the maintenance person on site and always helped my mom. My mom was not ready to leave but it was important to move her closer to her family in Florida. When we moved my mother out both Courtni and Rick were so helpful to us and there were so good to us and assured my mom they’d stay in touch. And Courtni does. I never worried about my mom living there and us so far away. I wished she could of lived her dream out and stayed to the end. That was her wish. She isn’t as excited about living with us as she was living at the Commons. Highly recommend for your loved one Kim Allen, Florida"

"Cornerstone Commons is a wonderful place to live. The tenants are nice and fun. They have a coffee group in the morning who enjoy conversation and sometimes goodies to eat. There is a Bible study on Mondays for those who want to attend. There is quilting and sewing once a month. Twice a month the tenants have a dinner out. They also include games like Rummikub and Mexican Train throughout the month. There is a birthday party with cake and ice cream also. The underground parking is awesome. Mike is great as maintenance. He keeps the building beautiful and he is always available if you need something. There is a library, senior center and grocery stores near buy for your convenience. All in all, it is a great place for retirement."

"My grandmother has lived here for about two years now. It has been hell for her and she is trying to find another living space for her. Bev Rooker, part of management, verbally and mentally abuses her! She has yelled at her, threatened her with her housing and increasing her rent, not to mention she has spoke to our family with such disrespect. We are now considerinf that legal action is warranted. Do not let your loved one live here, absolutely horrible! The living space itself is very nice, but my grandmother has been so upset and I can't believe what this woman has said both to us and my grandmother."
