Cartie Apartments

"I just came across some paperwork from the past where I lived in this apartment complex in 2011. We had a horrible experience ,our apartment was infested with bed bugs ,,next day we were bitten severely. The owner Mr.Thompson is most crooked human being we ever encountered,,I do not write review but this one deserves attention and I would not give any star but I could not get to review section. BEWARE OF CARTIE APARTMENTS AND THEIR SHADY dealings!!!!!!"

"I put in an application over 2 weeks ago. Me and my kids are actually staying in a hotel. I told Stacy the property manager all about my situation and the circumstances behind them. She was very nice and understanding. For the first time in a long time I felt I had someone who would be willing to lease to me, a single parent with two jobs, trying to stay afloat. Stacy informed me that it would take anywhere from 1 to 3 days for my application to come back and that my eviction would be considered as long as I didn't have a back balance. I took into consideration that I may need a cosigner so I put one in place just in case. As of today June 16th, I have been calling everyday since June 2nd, asking the status on my application. She has been saying that the office is backed up and if they had any questions they would have informed her by now. My question is, if there is not a problem with the application and my income is in range why am I now being sent to voicemail Everytime I call? Why isn't anyone keeping me informed about this process. It should not take over 2 weeks to process a rental application. If I'm not approved just tell me so me and my children are not in the dark. 2 weeks and over a $1000 in hotel cost. I feel totally played. Although still hoping to get in to this apartment because of location and price. I would like to be treated as a priority at some point. I would like to be treated like my children and I are at least important enough not to be sent to voicemail."
