"I wish they have security camera stairwell and storage lot of people sleeping in storage it's not really safe when parents have kids around just saying kind of looking out for the kids"

"Staff will return calls when you are applying and interested in renting. Once a renter and lease signed, they do not return calls. The apartment was dirty, smelled, A/C unit has not worked for 30 days in 100 degree heat. They provided a small window air that did not cool. The screens were broken making windows unable to open. The door has a unsafe lock and the chain lock on the inside was missing 2 screws. There were no blinds or window coverings as stated provided in lease. This is only a short list of problems. The maintenance man was very helpful with limited resources available to him. I do not recommend renting here."

"it's a dumpster fire. Dont expect them to fix anything. And especially don't expect them to do it right. Sewage has been overflowing for over two months now and they won't do anything so we can't do laundry in our own building. Ac never works in the summer and our central air unit in the apartment is straight from the 70s so it has no filter and barely works. Same thing goes for the oven and most outlets. They just need to condem this place and bulldoze it. There's people that live here who have water damaged ceilings and mold problems. None of their other properties are any better.Don't make my mistake and run while you can. There are way nicer apartments for the same price. If you do already live here and having these problems call housing inspection or use your free 30 min consultation with a tenant landlord lawyer. You can sue them for inhabitable environment and not maintaining the property."

"Honestly one of the worst places to rent from in the Sioux City area. They have a serious roach problem. It was reported numerous of times yet we dealt with it for over at least 6 months while continuously reporting it. Purchased our own storage bins to keep them out of our personal belongings along with purchasing a storage unit off site. They have black mold growing in the laundry room. The trash would pile up outside making it very unpleasant to open windows. In the summer our A/C would stop working multiple times and wouldn't get fixed until a day or two later. The water would get clogged very easily in our unit for example the kitchen sink, the shower and the bathroom sink. In the winter our heat wouldn't work as well, and wouldn't get fixed right away. The whole building is practically out dated with no renovations. Also the 5 star reviews are from staff."

"My 2 bedroom is perfect for my dog and I. Neighbors are quite and keep to themselves. Walls are a little thin as I can hear the kids up stairs yelling and jumping around, but its always quite by 8pm, not a big issue for me. Maintenance is quick to respond and repair. The girls in the office are extremely nice and helpful. They are willing to help out and cut some slack once in a while, they have helped me out IMMENSELY the past month and are very on top of things. When coming into the complex it looks a little sketchy on the outside but inside is very nice. I know the property managers are trying to fix and update the buildings. (They just added a dog area for dogs to run off lease, my dog loves it and we both have meet some friends there! I definitely recommend Valley Park apartments."
