"Beautiful apartments but very thin walls. I'm disabled and cannot help but make some noise. I don't do so on purpose. The residents here tho have a mob mentality and seem to have nothing better to do than to complain about me to management. Who are aware of my challenges. I walk on eggshells while living in fear due to the hostile environment I'm exposed to. Such a shame as this place otherwise is very lovely, just not it's residents. I don't LOOK disabled, but realize that not all wounds are visible. I should not have to humiliate myself and explain to everyone what my challenges are. I can only say that I've been trying to comply with the rules since day one. As for noise? This is an apartment complex people. Expect some. And I do not create such excessive noise that it warrants so many people to be harassing me with noise complaints to management. I'm not the problem here, it's the rude and hateful community. Thank you."

"Less than 5 stars. I delivered to a customer. Hasn't had her fire, carbon monoxide detector replaced although she has called them."

"This community is a hidden gem in Sioux City! Really great buildings, built in the 80s (very solid and quiet....not at all like hollow new construction!) The owner is always investing back into the buildings, updating the apartments (LOTS of remodeling lately, new kitchens and baths), new roofing, paint is constantly refreshed, grounds are well taken care of. They take lots of pride in their grounds keeping, very pretty butterfly gardens at the entrances! Front office staff is FIRST class - professional in every sense of the word, Judy, Rochelle and Mike always have a smile for their residents, they place really great residents - quiet peaceful neighbors. AND! 24 hr maintenance staff -- Chip and Tyler are always happy to help even when it's a simple light bulb I can't figure out to change, or if my a/c goes out on the weekend, they are there and I'm thankful for them. I'm appreciative and proud to call Glen Oaks home."

"I don't know what they cost, my company paid for me to be there, but it was a very nice apartment. The main office and staff were super nice. The maintenance was top notch! I was there for 6 months and I LOVED that apartment. The office staff would rectify any problem that I had and there were only one or two. My main complaint would be that many of the renters had dogs and even though there were receptacles to put the dog mess in, they chose not to and there were big piles of this stuff all over the complex. I complained and the staff was genuinely upset that it was happening, they would have had to catch the offenders red handed. Unfortunately maintenance had to clean it up. The neighborhood was fabulous with sidewalks everywhere. It was convenient to everything. The pool was dated and not open all of the time due to algae and closed at 9pm. It would great if they would put lights out there so that they can leave it open. BUT whenever it was closed during the day they would open the one down the street for me, and then they eventually gave me a key to that one. You rarely, rarely heard people overhead, rarely heard a washer. It is just a great, great place to live. It was in a very safe neighborhood."
