"I was with a large group from out of state for an event at USD. Even though there were few rooms available, the front desk staff made a room switch for me so I could have a desk. Wow, they went above and beyond and were so kind! My room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again!"

"Nice location by the College Dome. Around restaurants, so it's very convenient to walk wherever needed. I doordash delivery orders and nice and quiet every time I visit this hotel."

"Where do I start? Given how close it is to the Dakota Dome, the location was amazing. The pool was fun. There is definitely potential. The smell in our room wasn’t great and when we tried to open the window, discovered it was covered and not operational. I called and asked what was going on and was told to not open it, they had no fans or air purifiers, and offered some febreeze. It smelled like they had already tried that and it wasn’t something that could get covered up. It was a musty chemical smell. Not great. Staff was rude on two occasions. We had been in the seating area with pizza, snacks, and drinks. Not a lot of options after a high school game. We were told that we would get arrested if police showed up because of the alcohol. I totally understand a policy about “parties” but we aren’t the college party crowd. Old and boring might be a better way to describe us. I also had two kids eating at the end of the breakfast “time” and was told at 9:32 that it closes at 9:30 and that “it’s on the sheet”. They had already gotten food but were grabbing a fork or something. And there were still several other tables still milling around. And the bugs… I was joined in my shower by a little lady bug that had been painted or sprayed with drywall. The bathroom was in the midst of construction with repairs halfway done and a couple bugs must have been hanging out for that. When I checked out they made note of these issues but who knows. No apology at all."

"This Holiday Inn Express was consistent with other ones I have been in. The breakfast selections, the room amenities and the entire place in general had nothing to pick on. Everything went smoothly. Be aware of the marching bands practicing in the early morning on USD campus across the street, however."
